Calligraphy, Sketches and Demonstration Painting

The kanji word below is shōchikubai (Three Friends in Winter--bamboo, pine, and plum) for those who want to practice their calligraphy.

There are three sets of relatively simple sketches this week for practice. The first set gives examples of kaiji-hō bamboo leaves.

The second is a set of sketches showing examples of plum blossoms

The next sketch is an example of pine needles.
