There are two kanji words this week for those who want to practice their calligraphy. The first is Isshō (Sense of Humor).
The next is take to inu (bamboo and dog).
Here is a relatively simple sketch of a Japanese Chin dog for practice.
I used red gansai for my dog's tongue. You may notice another place where there is red toward the dog's hindquarters. That was an accident after I was done painting. You don't need to include it in your painting if you don't want to.
