The kanji word below is fūkei-ga (landscape) for those who want to practice their calligraphy.

Demonstration Painting

Here is a reminder of the meanings of a couple of words I use in the guidance. Sabake-fude is a technique in which strokes are made with a dry brush, the bristles of which have been spread apart. Tenkei are minor elements in paintings to add interest in the main subject.
