Calligraphy, Sketches and Demonstrations

The word this week is omoto (Japanese sacred lily) in kanji for those who want to practice their calligraphy.

Here is a simple sketch of the Japanese Sacred Lily for practice.

The technique I used for this painting is called kōrokutensai-hō. It uses outlining with color filled in afterward.
