Portraits

This project was to take portraits, however since I was ahead of everyone in class I didn't know we had to do certain types of portraits. After I had developed my film I was a little worried I would have to redo the whole project, but Mr. Anderson said it was ok. For these pictures, I spent the class walking around the school getting photos of students and teachers. My favorite images out of this role were the one from the one lunch lady, which is the one I ended up printing. I'm not sure if my camera was moving when I took the photo or if it wasn't focused but it came out really blurry and grainy. that could also be from enlarging it but I'm not sure. I made a second print of my friend Siham and that one also came out blurry and it wasn't as enlarged. Also, both of my prints were slightly exposed like more of my paper because after I took it and was getting ready or bringing it to the developer someone would turn on their phone near me. Sadly this was a reoccurring issue especially when Mr. A was out and the sub wasn't in the dark, people in the class would play music and play on their phone while they waited or where hanging out with other students in the class.
