Slab Mugs
I mainly focused on making mugs and pots for Christmas gifts. I did make two slab plates on with sgraffito and another with a glaze design. on one of my mugs, I did a transfer with newsprint. I had never done this and I was very happy with how it came out. over the flower print, I added a PC blue glaze on the outside. I also made a variety of ornaments of socks with different patterns. the ones I think came out the best were the brown mug and bowl set because of the color scheme and craftsmanship. my favorite glazed one is the black mug that turns bluish-green in the sun. I do however wish I spent more time crafting the mug. for my brown and green mug, I used the pulling technique for the handles which looked cleaner than my slab or rolled handles.
