Beautiful Oops

My third beautiful oops, for this one i tried to turn it into something that would match my previous concentration from 3D design. I took the blob of ink and tried to turn it into an explosion of his body, like he had been shot with something really big. I debated between adding guts in the hole or a creepy guy/creature. I went with the guts because it both looked better and matched my concentration more. I used fine point pen for the man and highlighters for the background. my favorite part of this piece is the the shape of the splatter and how its not a simple drop it's an explosion. the coloring in the guts adds a cool type of contrast to the soil black around which that than contrats with the white man. The background is something i think could be improved in the way of its coloring. the strips behind the color we a good touch, however if i were to the color in watercolor it would achieve a different feel/texture. Something different I did with this piece is that I added hair to the head, a whole set of hair and facial hair. I don't normally do this because most elderly I know are bald or only have a small amount
