My name is Reagan Davis, named after the jelly bean man, I'm a senior at the wonderful age of 18. I grew up in a busy and creative household making my imagination to much to express with words. I've always enjoyed doing things with my hands whether it be sculpting or drawing it was a way to stop my mind from racing from one place to another at the speed of Martin. I'd like to think I'm a pretty exciting person, I try to learn or do new things to keep my stories and art interesting. For example, tasting unusual stuff (like bugs or frogs), learning to ride the unicycle, or becoming a CNA.

I find myself focusing on making caricatures related to the elderly or other weird creatures that show up in my head. I have always loved doing my work in a black pen but I also enjoy using alcohol based markers and watercolor paint as well. Common themes in my work are anatomy, the elderly, and the expression of negative/depressive emotions. My favorite piece so far is Smiley Sydney because of the use of texture and the overall message. The most difficult type of art for me is realism because it takes so long to do and one slightly off mark will keep if from looking right. Art is important to me because it has become a huge part of who I am and is how I am able to express myself to others. Some of the awards I have won include 1st place from the Maine Disability Inclusion contest, 1st place in the Maine Junior Duck Stamp, 2 silver keys in the Scholastics Art Competition, and two 1st place's in the Freeport Woman’s Club Public Library Exhibition.
