One Earth
The One Earth prompt revolves around awareness for climate change. I choose to focus on the ocean population and its effect on the change. the ocean is important for taking in CO2 and using the corals to make more oxygen. however with all the population and chemicals in the waters, the coral reefs are dying faster than ever. My art is of a woman swimming and another running on the beach. I wanted the viewer to understand that this was a normal environment for them, they're used to the decaying world. Making all the trash piece was entertaining as I felt like I was making one of the search and find pictures kids do. I struggled the most with making the sun, as the sides would be uneven and then I couldn't blend it out like wanted.
