Unit 2: Australia's sporting identity

Our goal for this term is to: understand the role sport plays in shaping Australia’s identity and discuss the different perceptions there are about male and female athletes. They will understand the link between sport and indigenous, colonial and modern society. In addition to the content learnt, students will also learn the codes of behaviour for spectators and officials.
