Goal for this unit:
The goal of the Judaism depth study is to explore the contribution of significant people, ideas, practices and ethical teachings to an understanding of Judaism as a living religious tradition. (Syllabus, pp45)
The big idea of this unit is that students will understand Judaism is a living religion, whose development and expression has been influenced by Moses Mendelssohn, which provides responses to modern bioethical issues and which embraces practices such as marriage.
