Term 2 - Unit 2: Collected Curiosities

Our Goal This term is to: 

Develop an understanding of the role of the photographer and how to communicate through visual and digital imagery. Develop a sophisticated concept that effectively combines varying subject matter. In this instance, A series of portraits and a "mockumentary" of the person and their collection.

We will achieve this by: 

• Developing skills and understanding of how to create aesthetically pleasing images of a person who happens to be a collector 

• Investigating and exploring ways to interview, photograph and film a collector using a range of techniques.

• Applying the rules of composition, camera angles and contemporary arts practice 

• Creating photographic and digital works for different audiences, exhibitions, displays, publications and reproduction.
