This semester, students continue to develop their linguistic skills across all language macro-skills. They explore the themes of Entertainment and Technology, Daily Life, and Francophone Countries, using these topics to enhance their communication and comprehension in French. Throughout the course, students gain a deeper understanding of French-speaking cultures, refine their knowledge of grammatical structures by comparing French and English, and explore linguistic and cultural connections. Additionally, they are encouraged to expand their vocabulary and reinforce their learning through the online learning tool Education Perfect.

We will achieve this by:

• accessing authentic French online resources

• completing online activities and games to recall key vocabulary

• listening and responding to spoken French

• reading French texts that make use of key vocabulary and language structures

• writing texts in French that incorporate the key vocabulary and language structures

• performing role plays in French

• exchanging and sharing ideas and information through group work and ‘class discussions’
