Focus: This unit builds students’ understanding of the nature, purpose and changing landscape of work, including different forms of employment, the roles of key workplace stakeholders and the legal rights and responsibilities that govern work relationships. Students also develop financial capability by examining how people are paid, why taxation matters and how to navigate workplace issues, then apply their learning through investigating a current issue in the work environment.
