Term  3 2023: 

Through the study of Le monde est à nous, , students  learn to express holiday preferences and to describe holidays in detail. They provide details of a current and past holiday and talk about past or future visits to France or other locations. They reflect on the negative impacts of tourism in various locations and  the pros and cons of different transport options and experiences  whilst travelling. They consider whether they would take a gap year after Yr 12 and whether they would spend a year in a French speaking country

Through the study of  Fêtes, traditions et célébrations dans le monde, students revise and extend their skills in talking about their favourite celebration. They will describe various celebrations and festivals that they have attended. They will discuss traditions in Australia, France and around the world and reflect on rites of passage in modern and traditional societies. They will extend their ability to discuss significant moments in their life
