Classic Hits & Instruments of the Orchestra

In this unit, students will explore a variety of well-known musical works across different historical periods, including the Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Contemporary eras. Through active listening, composition, and performance tasks, students will develop foundational skills in music reading, appreciation and ensemble/solo playing. This unit encourages students to recognise familiar musical themes, understand their historical context, and express their own musical ideas through group and solo performances.
