The goal of this unit is to undertake a study of the religious tradition of Christianity as a living religious system. Students will explore the origins, beliefs, sacred texts, core ethical teachings and ritual of prayer as part of their studies. (Syllabus)

Christianity, as a religious tradition, offers its adherents a sense of meaning and purpose and way to live their life. Having a religious identity is still relevant in today's world.

What are the principal beliefs of Christianity and how are they evident in Scripture?
