DE: Das Donaudelta liegt im Grenzgebiet der heutigen Staaten Rumänien (mit einem Anteil von rund 80 Prozent) und Ukraine und erstreckt sich über eine Fläche von mehr als 5 000 Quadratkilometern. Es ist die letzte und vielleicht auch schönste Erscheinungsform der Donau, die hier das Schwarze Meer erreicht.

EN: The Danube delta is situated in the borderland of what are now the states of Romania (with a share of approximately 80 per cent) and Ukraine, with more than 5 000 square kilometres. This is the final and perhaps most beautiful section of the Danube river at the point where it flows into the Black Sea.

RO: Delta Dunării se afl ă între graniţele statale ale României (în proporţie de cca. 80 %) şi Ucraina, şi se întinde pe o suprafaţă de peste 5 000 km2. Formată la vărsarea Dunării în Marea Neagră, aceasta reprezintă o inedită formă geografică.
