EN: Dear friends of nature and friends of photography, The Danube connects ten countries and its peoples with their different cultures. Photography also has the ability to bridge people by wordless communication. Starting from the activity of Friends of Nature International, the landscape of the year 2007-2009 Danube Delta, we were looking for an offer that links people from all these countries along the Danube. More than 2000 contributions to the special theme of the IFN photo competition ‘The Danube and its tributaries’ showed that we did succeed.
