Intro
-Just a tiny bit of information about me that might be useful to know, my name is Bre, I am a technical theater major, (I love helping with shows & performances, I mostly help in the sound department.) I am doing this amazing internship for credit at my college in America. I have taken a number of theater classes from college, like sound design class & lighting design class. I love helping with shows in any way I can. I have not worked many dance performances yet, but I am ready for an adventure, filled with a lot of learning. I would describe myself as a hard worker, very dedicated, & all ways trying to do my best.
For me this internship means in short I get to help with the sound design for dance projects, help with the soundtracks for dance shows, help with the lighting design for dance shows, help with photography & video editing, & then help in any other way that I can.
I am so extremely excited to be able to be apart of this company for the next 12 weeks, I am sure that I will learn a lot. This is going to be an amazing adventure.
-Internship Day 1 (uno)
-First Day of Internship :)
-On the first day of my internship, I may have gotten lost trying to get here my first time. Google Maps likes to cut out in this area apparently. Marta (from my internship program advising center) was able to accompany me to my first day, & we were able to fill out all the forms we needed. (Ana, Marta, & myself) I was able to meet a lot of people, like my boss Ana. My first day of my internship on 07/05/2019 & my last day of my internship is 25/07/2019. I found out my work schedule is Monday-Thursday from 10:00am -3:00pm. Ana did tell me that it might be better if I showed up like 10 minutes late, so I would arrive around 10:10am, because the first person that comes in the morning usually comes in a little late, & Ana doesn't want me waiting outside for 10 minutes for someone to come & let me in. After we were all done signing the forms, I was also able to start working on organizing some photographs for the internship. They had a lot of photos that were all together on a flash drive & my job was to take them & separate them into different folders each with a number. Each folder was a different dance number/different performance. The saying goes, "a picture is worth a thousand words". These photos had a lot to say. After all dancers have this ability to speak with their actions & the movement of their bodies. They are extremely interesting; I liked how I was able to see what kind of performances they are used to putting on, & kind of how they are able to do things here. All just based off of photographs. One funny thing that happened today was someone when they found out my name is Bre, they quickly pulled out their phone & pulled up a picture of "Desperate Housewives" & showed me that the redhead in the picture was also named Bree. Something I learned was that I really need to work a lot on my Spanish. I know a few things, but I really need to work on that more. One of my goals for this internship is really improve on my Spanish skills. For most of the people that work here, it seems, as their primary langue is Spanish, they all seem to know a little bit of English. Given the fact that I am in Spain, I think it would be best if I tried to jump onto as many Spanish classes/lessons I can. Just so that way I can try to learn as much as I can. I am currently trying this really simple idea, every time I learn a new word or phrase I try to use the Spanish version of that, rather than English. I don't know a lot of Spanish now but I trying to learn more each day.

-Internship Day 2 (dos)
-On the second day of my internship I was able to continue to work on the organizing photographs project. I was able to complete that project. I then was told how they would like me to create my weekly schedule/my weekly goals & assignments. Here they like to create this weekly to-do list. So that way they know everyone has some goals, & they are working towards achieving them. & So they know what each other is up to that week. So I went I created mine, because I don't know exactly everything I am going to be doing just yet, I tried jumped ahead on that as far as I can go, just to help me plan everything better. My next assignment was to make sure I did this blog for each week that I have my internship, so I was able to start setting it up the way that made the most sense to me. At the end of the day at 2:58pm my wonderful boss Ana let me know that I needed to leave, because I only work until 3:00pm & that I needed to make sure to watch the clock so I know when to leave, as she was telling me all this the time did turn from 2:58pm to 3:00pm, so I explained that to her. So that's a funny thing that happened. An interesting thing I realized is that Americans say things like “Okay” & “Sounds good” a lot. Ana pointed that out to me, as she was explaining how she wanted me to do the blog. She said I sounded like another American she knows & works with, because he also says things like that as well. I guess that is just an American thing to do when someone is explaining to you what he or she wants you to do. One thing I did learn today is that I need to make sure to bring my laptop converter, so that way I can charge my laptop at my internship. I brought my normal charger I just didn't bring the adaptor I need. Because the part that plugs into the wall is still the American plug in. After work I started looking into getting a laptop charger for Spain. I plan on trying to stop by the Apple Store sometime soon.
Thursday 09/05/2019
-Internship Day 3 (tres)
-On my third day of my internship I was cold, it seemed like it was a colder day than the last few days if I remember that correctly. I worked on this blog for most of the day. Trying to make it the best I can. I also worked on my weekly to-do list, trying to make it better. I tired to make a goals list, but at this time I could think of two things to put on it. 1. To learn as much as I can. & 2. To help with sound. Simple but that is the truth right now. For part of this day, after working on the blog & the to-do list for the most part of the day, I was given the assignment to work & edit some photos for Tudanza. To make them black & white & to put the Tudanza logo on them, & to type out a label that said "the place, the date, Festival Social TUDANZAS 2019" on the next line it said "the dance group's name". I was given the assignment but was not able to work on it much because it was time for me to leave for the day.
13/05/2019- 16/05/2019
Monday 13/05/2019
-Internship Day 4 (cuatro)
-This was a frustrating day. My assignment was to edit the photos, one photo for each of the dance directors. But the new application that I have downloaded for this, Gimp does not like my laptop.
I am use to working with Photoshop, & unfortunately Gimp is different in quite a few ways. So there is a big learning curve when I try to edit the photos on Gimp.
Gimp has crashed several times on me today.
So when I tried restarting Gimp, my whole laptop restart, so it took 30+ minutes to try to get it working again.
I wish I could possibly use a different computer for this photo editing process.
I also need to figure out when all the photos are due, so I can make sure that they are ready by then, because I think this is taking way too long. I would like the photos to be nice looking but when I'm struggling with even simple things like cropping the photos, & make it larger so it covers the rest of the layers.
It makes me worried.
I also brought my laptop charger but I didn't bring my converter. So my laptop is probably going to die before 3:00pm. I might have to leave early today. I don’t want to. I would like to stay & be able to complete the things I have set out to do today, in the office.
I was lucky because my laptop did not die, instead I was just able to turn off the Wi-Fi & then just go through & pick what photos I thought would be best to use to edit for each dance director.
Tuesday 14/05/2019
-Internship Day 5 (cinco)
-Today I was very sleepy. My roommate didn’t have her key so I had to wait up for her, & Mother Nature has made me very sleepy. So my roommate came home after 4am last night. So right now in the office I have been walking back & forth as I wait for my computer to finish loading stuff. I keep standing & walking all over the place today.
So I apologize for the fact that I am very sleepy in the office today. I will try to go to bed sooner tonight.
I found a tiny paint canvas in the office & I said that it looks like it’s the size for a Polly Pocket.
Also Gimp really doesn’t like my laptop, I had to re-download the whole application. A few times.
I might want to change applications so I have a chance to complete this before it’s due.
So today I did try that, I did try to use a different application to edit the photos to black & white at least.
Wednesday 15/05/2019
-Internship Day 6 (seis)
-This day it was amazing suddenly Gimp wanted to work for me. I have no idea why that was the case but somehow it was. I also learned that they needed all the photos by tomorrow, so this whole day I spent it working on trying to edit the photos as fast as I could. I remembered feeling rushed for the rest of the day, trying to get everything done as fast as I could. I think I stayed until 3:45pm, 45 minutes longer than I normally do, just trying to edit everything. & get it all done.
Thursday 16/05/2019
-Internship Day 7 (siete)
-This was another full day where I did nothing but edit photos as fast as I could. By the end of the day I was able to have at least one from every dance director all edited. I will not say they are my best work. But I could at least say that it was done. (1st attempt) Hopefully for the next assignment I have I don’t have as many computer issues as I did this time around. But at least now things are working the way they should be, I know now that I’ve said that now things aren’t going to work as well as I would want them to. I might have just jinxed it but hopefully not.
A funny thing did happened, so I had plugged in my laptop, so I could charge it & could still use it, so I positioned myself next to a wall. Well two people came up & asked me why I was sitting like that, because it looked as if I was in trouble. Like a little kid, in the corner.
They had also talked to me about possibly working next week on Friday.
20/05/2019- 23/05/2019
Monday 20/05/2019
-Internship Day 8 (ocho)
-This day, I worked a lot on the blog, I had not written any of them for last week, because I was busy trying to edit all of the photos on time. So I figured I might as well try to do all the blog from last week now. So I could get get caught up. I also tried to write as much as I could remember that I've done in the last few days in Spain, while I still had a chance to try & remember.
My new assignment is to now edit at least two photographs from each dance group. So I will jump on that task next.
Tuesday 21/05/2019
-Internship Day 9 (nueve)
-This day I worked really hard trying to finish up editing the photos, but at the end of the day I was informed that I had not been editing them the way they would like. So I needed to restart. (2nd attempt) I was also told I need to work more as a team, so I need to figure out how to do that, because right now I am just editing photos, I am not sure how I can work on my team building that way.
Wednesday 22/05/2019
-Internship Day 10 (diez)
-This day I edited photos. & Ana & I got our photo taken together. Because my internship wanted it. There was also another American here for part of the day his name was Tim. He was nice to talk to. I think he & TUDANZAS are going to work together. Not sure for what. This was the day I also discovered that I was going to be going somewhere with my internship group on Friday so I would be unable to work on Friday like we had planned before.
Thursday 23/05/2019
-Internship Day 11 (once)
-This day I edited the photos. & I think I did that all day. Just trying to get it all done.
27/05/2019- 30/05/2019
Monday 27/05/2019
-Internship Day 12 (doce)
-This day I was tired, but I tried to get a lot of photo editing done. The goal is to have it all done by Tuesday. So I felt very rushed all day.
Tuesday 28/05/2019
-Internship Day 13 (trece)
-So I finished all the photos by 12 this day. (I think) I was trying to go as fast as I could. (3rd attempt) After that, Edgar talked to me, & gave me some more things to do. So now I have more photos to edit. To black & white, & the labels on it. Right as I was leaving, Edgar let me know that I needed to move one of the labels down, on every single photo that I finished today.
Here is the list that Edgar gave me:
"-ensayos

Wednesday 29/05/2019
-Internship Day 14 (catorce)
-So this whole day, all I did was moved the labels down. That took all day. But I was able to do that. This day I was also reminded about this blog. Ana also seemed to think I was not happy today. I don't know why she thought that.
Thursday 30/05/2019
-Internship Day 15 (quince)
-The first thing I did today was I worked on the blog. Trying to get all caught up. After that my plan is to try to get as much done of the list from Edgar done that I can. & I was able to work on the folder "Danza-Teatro Comunitaria - Memorias del Convent" & inside are the folders "Actuación" & "Ensayos"
03/06/2019- 06/06/2019
Monday 03/06/2019
-Internship Day 16 (dieciséis)
-This day I edited photos. I edited alot of "Piratas 2019" I found out I was doing it wrong. They wanted even more black, less gray. (Basically it seems like they really want all the photos either in white or black, no gray. So that is frustrating. Because when I found out I had already done, 89 photos for that group at that point. After Edgar informed me that I still needed to work on them, he also gave me a few more assigments to edit, for the folders "Actuación" & "Ensayos". & said I needed to redo some of the past photos I had done (For all of the photos, (4 of each group, this is the 4th attempt I have made on these photos). (4th attempt) So I did that, & then was able to edit 3 of the Piratas before it was time for me to go. Also Ana never asked about the music she had asked me to get last week. (I don't rememeber what day she asked me to do that, but sometime last week.) So I guess she is busy with other things.
As of this day I have editied at least 718 photos in total.
Tuesday 04/06/2019
-Internship Day 17 (diecisiete)
-This day, all I did was editing. I finished editing "Piratas 2019", all 217 done. "Piratas 2019", took a long time because there are some photos photos for this file, so it made my laptop slow. I also tried to start on the "voluntarios" folder. But I ran out of time & it was time for me to go. Ana says she wants me to finish editing all the photos by next Tuesday & then we can start doing some other stuff. Not editing photos. Which is very exciting. (I mean at this point I have been editing photos non-stop for 5 weeks)
Wednesday 05/06/2019
-Internship Day 18 (dieciocho)
-This day I tired to edit more folders. I finished "voluntarios" & "Momentos Voluntarios" & "Momentos TDZ" & "Baile voluntarios" & "Exposiciones" (within this folder are more folders: "Convent" & "espacio público" & "Palau" & "Pou".) & "Fiesta Inauguración" & "Montajes" & "Desmontaje" & "Público" (within this folder was another folder: "Mañana")
In total for today I edited 9 for "voluntarios". 9 for "Momentos Voluntarios". 3 for "Momentos TDZ" 3 for "Baile voluntarios". "Exposiciones" (within that folder are more folders: 4 for "Convent". 5 for "espacio público". 4 for "Palau". 4 for "Pou".) 3 for "Fiesta Inauguración". 5 for "Montajes". 5 for "Desmontaje". 16 for "Público" (within that folder was another folder: 10 for "Mañana")
Which comes to a total of 80 photos for just today.
Over all I have edited at least 1,015 photos.
Thursday 06/06/2019
-Internship Day 19 (diecinueve)
-This day I worked on the folder "Conferencia VOZ DE VOLUNTARIOS" so I edited all of the photos 172 photos. I didn't have a number of how many I was supposed to edit, so I just edited them all. I also tried to check if other folders needed to be worked on today, but I wasn't sure excalty what all needed to be edited. In my notes, all I have left is "
Laboratorieos de Creacionismos 2018 Check if things still need to be edited " but I don’t know if things need to edited or not, & if so how many.
So far the total number of photos that I have edited is at least 1,187.
10/06/2019- 13/06/2019
Monday 10/06/2019
-Internship Day 20 (veinte)
-I got a messsage from Ana on Sunday May 9, 2019 at 12:12am saying "Hello sweety Tomorrow is a holiday in Spain its not necessary that you come" It was Festival-Pascua Granada.
So I did not go to my internship this day.
Tuesday 11/06/2019
-Internship Day 21 (veintiuno)
-When I first got to my internship this day, I was the only one there. Normally there is someone else already there. But not this time. So it was just me for a while. So I worked on the blog, & making sure some photos looked good. We then had a meeting. Ana, Lina, Maialen & myself. Were we got to talk about the past week & how we felt things were going. & things to improve on. Ana let me know that I still need to work on being more connected with the rest of the group more. Because as she said, if I am not connected with everyone, then she will not be able to work creatively with me. She needs to know me, in order to be able to work creatively with me. She also said that we would listen to the music I found last week, today.
So I'm hoping that after I show Ana some music, that I found she might think that helps show me & then we can work more creatively together. So until our scheduled time to show her the music I found, I am going to try to find some more music, to give her a lot of options. I do not want to disappoint her.
Here is part of a list of links for songs I found that she might like:

During our chat, I played part of the first song, & then she stopped me, asking if I just find music, or if I edit, or create. I tried to let her know I find music & then I can edit it. Ana seems to want me create some music. So that should be an interesting challenge. I normally set up the sound system, not so much design & create my own music. So I am going to try to do this the best way I can. Some notes from our meeting are:
"love story of a boy & girl from different parts of the world,
they meet up together in the middle
about 6 mins long
Between Zen & euphoria
A constant sound in the back
With things going up & down between the song
Maybe like star/space music from theater
Always connected
10 mins
slow
two spots
opening up, moving (getting dressed example) to start off
slowly meet up in the middle
create something new
connection,
el hilo rojo (leyenda)"
I need to keep talking to Ana via email, as she will be gone this week. & I need to be ready & done by Monday.
Wednesday 12/06/2019
-Internship Day 22 (veintidós)
-This day I worked a little bit on my Weekly Schedule/To-Do List. Because I haven't really been using it, so I adjusted a few things on it, adding some of the past due dates for items that I have already completed. After that I went right to work on finding some music for the projects Ana has put me on.
I spend the rest of this day, searching for music that I think might be what Ana wants. I've created a long list. & I've sent a few emails to Ana. I haven't heard from her yet, in response to the videos I found, but I'm sure she will answer when she has time.
Thursday 13/06/2019
-Internship Day 23 (veintitrés)
-This day when I came in, no one was here. So odd, second time that happened. I guess people just moved around their work schedules. So today I worked more on trying to find some music that Ana would like for the two dance numbers. But then I realized I was sending a lot of options. A lot. So I tried to narrow down the list I had. I listened to all the videos, as I watched the sample video of the dance that Ana showed me, on loop. & by picking the ones I thought fit the mood, & requirements that Ana is trying to go for.
Here is the email I sent out today:
"Hello,
This day I've spent all day listening to all the song I've sent. I've listen to them all a few times over. I've listened to all of the music videos I've sent, as I watched the video of the sample dance, that Ana sent me, on loop. So I could try to pick what ones would best match this type of dance, while fitting into the ideas that Ana talked to me about. I've also looked for more music options.
But because options can be intimidating I've decided to shorten the list & put them into categories.
So you can tell me:
-Which category you like best for the dances.
-What you like about that category.
-What you wish was different.
-What you don't like about that category.
-If you think that category is missing something.
From there I narrow down even more what kind of music you want.
I can't wait to hear from you.

-This song is very clam, I am hoping it is not too clam.
-This kind of music, there is a lot of verity, so if you liked the general style of this one, then I can find a lot that are very similar.
-I know this song is on the shorter side, but I am putting it on this list to see if you like more, & to see if this is the kind of style Ana wants me to look more into.

Star like music-Tony Anderson

-Pro- these songs can be longer (about 5-6 mins or more)
-Pro- there is constant sound in the background like Ana has told me she wanted
-Con- these type of songs can be very similar to each other, so they can sometimes feel like they are all the same, depending on how you listen to them.

Diana –Tony Anderson

Time: 5:55
-This song has a stary night kind of feel towards it.
-It might be too constant, or not enough changes within it for what Ana is searching for. However, I still think this might be the closest to what Ana wants.
-I think this is the exact mix that we are looking for between zen & euphoria.
Darkest Night –Tony Anderson
Link:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9eNuD53aFbA
Time: 10:19
-This song has a lot of different parts within it, a lot of changes.
-So many changes that it can feel like it's part of an action movie, or a video game. But maybe that is what Ana is looking for.
-Because there is so many changes going on within the songs, the dancers could have some fun playing with that, creating their movements to match the music. Which would increase the effect of how each movement they have, & how that will affect the story they are telling.
Nocturne in Pairs -Tony Anderson
Link:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FD0ga7Zym4Q&list=RDHoV7hkJZuZw&index=2
Time: 7:10
-This song has some changes, where you can feel different emotions, which you would be able to show through the dance.
-I know the dance isn't completed yet, so this song could give you a wide verity of options to play with.
-I don't think this song is too fast paced, so you would be able to dance at the seed you wish.
-There is this classical feel to this song. Which could be a good or bad thing, depending on how you see it.

Music Box
-Con- Music boxes have been used lately in horror movies as a way of telling the audience that something bad is going to happen.
-Pro- But you could use that to your advantage, by having a song play like this, the audience might be sucked in more into the dancers movements.

Notes:
This one I pulled trying to match the la leyenda del hilo rojo video. This is the song they used in that video. I just found the song without the words in the la leyenda del hilo rojo video.
Time: 4:26
-This is the song that is in the la leyenda del hilo dojo video that Ana showed me. The exact song from that video. Both made from just a music box.
-This could be considered a popular song.
-Even without the words it might be too recognizable. I was able to recognize it within a few moments even without the words playing."

-Internship Day 24 (veinticuatro)
-I got an email back about the music over the weekend, but because I was traveling I did not open it until today. So today I downloaded the songs that Ana liked. I also got to go down in the basement & meet the two female dancers, they are nice. As we met up all together as a group. Ana said that I shouldn't be doing simple editing, because she could be doing that. If she has me around, she wants me to be better than her at music. She wants me to create my own music. So I need to create my own music. That is something I have never done before.
For today my assignment is to find out how other people online make music, like on YouTube. (Ana's logic is that some people can create music with their heads, so I should be able to do at least that. But better.) She also said I'm not a student anymore, that I need to stop taking classes, & start creating. She told me I need to get some applications so I can create & edit music. I already have a few applications that help me edit music & sounds. Like Audacity, QLab 3 & QLab 4. So I am going to try to get some more apps to help edit music.
I am also trying to sign up for as many Spanish classes that I can. Like even simple things like Duolingo, Memrise & any other useful app I can find to teach me Spanish. I am going to download as many apps as I can. (I just now downloaded a few apps, Babbel, Rosetta Stone, busuu, Drops, Speak&Translate, Spanish-24 hours learn Spanish, Innovative, Spanish, Spanish-Learn Spanish, Spanish-Learn Spanish, Parla X.) I just sent an email about having a private tutor to my internship program, so I can have private lessons.
I have a lot of things to do. I need to get going on this as soon & as fast as I can.

-Internship Day 25 (veinticinco)
-This day I wasn't really focused. This day the internship program told me it would be better if I skipped my internship for a week to take Spanish classes. So I need to check with Ana if that would work. Today I started at 11am, not 10am like I normally do. This day I got to watch the two lovely dancers. So I was able to get a better idea of how the dance is going to look. I was able to take some notes about it. Ana said she wanted 30 seconds of quite, 20 seconds for movement, 45 seconds for the hands & body movement, 30 seconds for the dress & skirt movement, 1 & 1/2 minutes when both of the dancers are together in the center stage, & lastly 1 min with quiet.
So after I got to watch the dance, & take a few notes, Ana told me to bring some ideas for Wednesday. The dancers are going define all the improve movements. We (the dancers & myself) will have 3 hours to work on it tomorrow. Ana won't be there. I can suggest ideas about timing when it comes to the music, & they can do the same about the timing of the dance.

-Internship Day 26 (veintiséis)
-This day, I had stayed up late working on the music at my place, because I needed to get it done. When I got to the office at 10am, there wasn't anyone there, & I didn't have keys so I was locked out for a while. So I just worked on my Spanish, by using apps on my phone.
At 11am is when Lina came so she was able to let me in then. I then went to work on the music for the dance. The dancers came & we were able to work on the dance with the music. I was able to kind of pick a few of the songs that we could use, & work with those ones. After the dancers left, I helped clean up the office a little. I also worked a little on the transitions between the different songs. One of the dancers also gave me a set of keys for the office.
Thursday 20/06/2019
-Internship Day 27 (veintisiete)
-Today I was the only one in the office, but I was also able to get in this time, because I had the keys from the dancers. When I got in, I wrote a little for the blog, & then I worked on editing the songs. Working on the transitions between the different songs.
Ana messaged us in a group chat (me & the dancers) that she would be in about 1ish.
So we showed Ana the dance, she gave us some notes. She told me one of the songs needs to be happier. She wants there be a buzz or hum in the background for all of the songs. She also wants there to be a crashing like effect for part of the dance. (not crashing like a sound effect, that's just how she described the sound) I also mentioned the first week of July for Spanish lessons, to Ana. There is no work on Monday.
24/06/2019- 27/06/2019
Monday 24/06/2019
-Internship Day 28 (veintiocho)
-There was no work this day. It was Festival-San Joan. So I did not go to my internship this day.
Tuesday 25/06/2019
-Internship Day 29 (veintinueve)
-This day, I was the first one to get to the office this day. So I was by myself for a bit. I worked on the blog for a little bit then I worked on trying to find a buzzing noise for the background of all of the songs. I worked on that until about 12:30pm when Marina (one of the dancers) came, & then Ana came. Marina, Ana & I left the Tudanzas office, & we walked over to this one place where Ana said we would be able to get keys. I think she was mostly talking to Marina at that point about the keys, because she said a lot of things in Spanish. After that we walked over to Casal de Barri Pou de la Figuera. Which is like a spot where they like do some of their dances, (I saw several photos of this place when I was editing photos). So we set up there. Ana said this is where we would be working on the dance. Which is why she was talking to Marina about keys. Ana told me to come to the internship tomorrow wearing something tomorrow that is not a dress. I tend to wear a lot of dresses. So that way I can participate in the warm up with the dancers, Marian & Sara. Ana thinks it will help me to be more included with them, if I warm up with them. I just hope she doesn't make me dance; I'm not a good dancer.
Once Ana got Marina & me set up at the Casal de Barri Pou de la Figuera, she left, saying she had to go to a meeting, but she would be back later on. I was shown where the speaker & cables where, so I was able to set that up & test it, so we could use it for the pratice. Soon after Sara came, & Marina & Sara practiced the dance. As I watched it, with the music playing. Making little adjustments as needed along the way. Ana came back & we worked on the dance with us. She was able to give me a few notes about the music. Like that I need to work on the transition between the songs I Fall Apart, & The Darkest Night. I also need to make the Darkest Night song happier. I need a faster paced song, more explosions, & a happier song.
Ana told me that I should start work tomorrow at 10:00am (she was going to say 11:00am, but I have a doc appointment at 3:45pm, so I need to get off the internship at 3:000pm Wednesday.) & then at 1:30pm we would go over to Casal de Barri Pou de la Figuera, & work with Marian & Sara with the music.
Wednesday 26/06/2019
-Internship Day 30 (treinta)
-This day I was the first one to get to the office. So I was on my own for a bit. So I worked on the blog for a bit, & then I got to work on editing the music. I did wear shorts like Ana asked me to. But it seems we ran out of time for that today. Because I did not The plan as of yesterday was for me to go over to Casal de Barri Pou de la Figuera to work on the music with Marian & Sara at 1:30pm. But at 1pm Ana said she was going over to Casal de Barri Pou de la Figuera, & she would message me when she wanted me to go over. So at 2:46pm that is Ana asked me to come over to Casal de Barri Pou de la Figuera. I was able to play the music once for them, & then I had to quickly leave for my doctors appointment. During the time I was able to be there, Ana said I needed to work on the transition, between A Continuance, & I Fall Apart. So I spend most of the day working on editing the music, & trying to find a new song. Which was A Continuance, & a few other songs.
Thursday 27/06/2019
-Internship Day 31 (treinta y uno)
-This day I was the first one in the office. So I had to send out a few emails to my internship program, & then worked on trying to edit the music, & trying to find a new song, to replace A Continuance, (which replaced Darkest Night). This day I was able to play some music for the dancers, as they danced few times. I got a few notes of things to work on, from myself & from Ana. Things like I still need a different song for I Fall Apart. Ana likes the beat for Please Don't Go, but she doesn't like the words. I need to work on the transition between Nocturne in Paris & Airplanes. Ana says there should be a new song when the dancers start to move their arms, the rhyme needs to change.
01/07/2019- 04/07/2019
Monday 01/07/2019
-Internship Day 32 (treinta y dos)
-This week my hours are different. Because I am taking Spanish lessons this week. They start from 9:30am/10:00am & go to 1:30pm/2:00pm. Today it said I had Spanish lessons from 9:30am-2:00pm. But I got out at 1:30. Not compalining. So at 1:45pm I got to the Tudanza office. Edgar was there. & I messaged Ana saying I was out of the lessons, & asked her where she wanted me.
Ana just sent me a message, saying there is no rehersal today, & to just work for one hour in the office.
So I'm going to work on editing the music for the hour I'm here today.
Tuesday 02/07/2019
-Internship Day 33 (treinta y tres)
-This day was my second day of Spanish lessons. My Spanish lesson today was from 9:30am-1:30pm. So I got to Casal de Barri Pou de la Figuera, at 2:00pm. So then I got to play the music for Marian & Sara as they praticed their dance.
Wednesday 03/07/2019
-Internship Day 34 (treinta y cuatro)
-This day was my third day of Spanish lessons. My Spanish lesson today was from 9:30am- 1:30pm. So after my lesson I went over to Casal de Barri Pou de la Figeuera, at about 1:50pm. When I got there the dancers were almost wrapping up. So I got to play the music for them a bit. & Then they were done. They say it's hard to practice their jump on the kind of flooring that Casal de Barri Pou de la Figeuera has. So they went to the beach.
Thursday 04/07/2019
-Internship Day 35 (treinta y cinco)
-This day was my fourth day of Spanish lessons. My lessons were from 9:30am- 1:30pm. After my lessons I went to Casal de Barri Pou de la Figeuera, & played the music a few times for the dancers, & Ana. Ana was there this time so she gave me some notes. & She said that next week Monday I would have all day to edit the music. She says a few things need to change with the music, so she will be there to make sure it gets changed correctly. & Then later on that week we will play it for the dancers again. I also need to create a copy of the music for the dancers. I still have to think about how I'm going to do that. I think what I might have to do, (because I have created this project in Qlab) is to create it in Audacity. So that should be an interesting task to complete.
08/07/2019- 11/07/2019
Monday 08/07/2019
-Internship Day 36 (treinta y seis)
-This day I was back to my normal schedule with my internship times, because I am no longer taking my Spanish classes; they were just for one week. So I got to my internship at 10:00am. & I worked on the blog for a bit, & now I'm about to work on moving the music from QLab to Audacity, so that might be interesting. Ana is going to come by today & help me with the music, today I am really focusing on editing the music all day today.
Ana did not end up coming today. I don't know why.
This day I worked really hard on moving all the music form QLab to Audacity. That took a lot of time. With the rest of the time I had, I was searching for new songs, to replace some of the current ones. Because I know Ana does not like some of the current songs. So I'm trying to be prepared & have songs ready to be put in. I was also looking for a new hum/buzz sound. I don't like how on the current hum/buzz sound, every time it repeats there is a slight click. I don't think any one else has noticed it, but I have, so I'm going to try to find a replacement for that as well.
Tuesday 09/07/2019
-Internship Day 37 (treinta y siete)
-Yesterday after my internship I got a 4 minute long audio message from Ana saying:
"Good afternoon Bre, um tomorrow you are going to do the rest of the music. I really need you to finish it because um um Miercoles or maybe tomorrow I don’t know yet. But in between tomorrow and Miercoles, I will do a tutorial with you, where we are going to review all the work you have been doing. You need to show me all the details, all the musics that you have been doing write it down on a paper do like a well done doc all the programs you have been using it and also like umm small details that maybe we can do together with you you know like uhh n o work better on some programs. Try to improve to work with other programs that you don’t know. Look for YouTube courses & so on & then you can just improve your skills & not just uh use duh basic stuff on music. Try to go deeper okay? Ah I see or tomorrow at the lunchtime or uh uh the day after at lunchtime like uh from from 1 until 2 more or less okay. Um see you then bye bye have a nice day."
I also got a few messages from Ana, this morning saying:
"Hello Bre today you going to be allone at the space."
"Im on one formacion and Lina os doing somwthing."
"Tomorrow we Will have the meeting."
"At 13h30 to 15h"
Also when I got to the office today, all the lights were off, (like normal) but this time I heard music playing. I looked all around. & I eventually found the source of the music. It was coming from a tablet inside a backpack. I can't stop it, or turn down the volume because I don't know the passcode. So I just put it back. I'm now waiting for the battery to die. I wonder how long that will be. I think it was at like 16 or 17% when I saw it. So I wonder how long the battery will last. 2:05pm is when the music stopped.
So I was alone for most of the day. Except for 2 minutes when Edgar came to get his backpack & then left.
I spent the whole day working on creating a spreadsheet trying to show Ana all that I have done. Hopefully I did it correctly, so Ana is happy with me tomorrow during our meeting. Hopefully she likes the music that I have worked very hard on, also. I want Ana to be happy with me.
Wednesday 10/07/2019
-Internship Day 38 (treinta y ocho)
-This day I was the only one in the office when I came in so I unlocked everything, & then I jumped right to work on making sure all the music stuff is ready for the meeting with Ana. I have created an Excel worksheet showing all the things I have done for this music project. I am hoping this is what Ana wants to see during the meeting. After that I quickly started to look for more songs. Songs that I think Ana will like more than the current ones I have.
I edited the music for a while. Ana came in & talked to Edgar for a while. & then Ana & I had our meeting. She gave me some notes about things to edit. Like she liked the beat from Please Don't Leave Me. But that's it just the beat. So I created a loop of the beat for her. Ana said creating music is like building a house out of Legos, it all has to fit together. She also let me know that I need to have something for the dancers to listen to tomorrow. & I need to have something for the dancers on Monday. & on Tuesday Ana said she will be back & she will listen to what I have. & all of the music needs to be done by Thursday July 18, 2019.
Thursday 11/07/2019
-Internship Day 39 (treinta y nueve)
-This day I was the first one in the office, I also got an email from Ana saying:
"Hello Bre,
at the end the girls just come tomorrow.
So today you will work allone again.
At the end of your working day i need you to send me the music with the changes of today and i will send you feedback.
have a beatifull day.
one hug
Ana Leitão"
So I edited the whole day, working on the music, trying to make it better. I did not see anyone, during the day. My laptop has decided that it is full. (There are a lot of audio files, are needed for this music. So I needed to use the USB storage that is in the office.)
15/07/2019- 18/07/2019
Monday 15/07/2019
-Internship Day 40 (cuarenta)
-This day I was the first one in the office. I am meeting with the dancers at noon. I was alone in the office. At noon I went to the Casal de Barri Pou de la Figeuera, to meet with the dancers. The dancers practiced the dance with music with me until 3:00pm.
We moved to the bigger dance area rather than the smaller one that we have been practicing in. The dancers came up with that idea. I made a few adjustments to the music as we went along. The dancers were nice enough that they did let me know that one part needs to be slowed down some more. So I made sure to put that in my notes.
Ana said she will come on Tuesday.
Tuesday 16/07/2019
-Internship Day 41 (cuarenta y uno)
-I was the first one in the office today. I had to wait some time to edit the music, because I had to get a new USB to hold all the memory needed for this internship. For the rest of this day I edited the music. I did not see anyone in the office other than myself, & I left the office at noon. At noon I got to play the music for the dancers as they rehearsed. We also used the bigger dance area, after a yoga group was done because then no one else was using it. So we rehearsed in the bigger area until a little before 3 that's when another person came in, who had signed up for that area. Which was okay because we were done rehearsing for that day. I did not see Ana today, although she told me she was going to be here on Tuesday. The dancers said that they heard she would be here on Wednesday.
Wednesday 17/07/2019
-Internship Day 42 (cuarenta y dos)
-This day I was the first one in the office. So I worked on the blog for a bit, & then worked on editing the music. I was not the only in the office today, Ana & Edgar came in, about 11:00am. When Ana got in she said she listened to the music I sent her on Thursday July 11, 2019, & she said it needed to be changed. Which is a little frustrating because I sent it to her on July 11, 2019, but I didn’t hear anything back from her, so I have been working off that one, since then. But today on July 17, 2019 that is when Ana told me she didn’t like it & it needed to be changed. So that is a little frustrating. But I will work my best to be able to do this music just how she wants it. So until noon I was working on editing the music. At noon I went over to Casal de Barri Pou de la Figeuera to meet with the dancers. There we worked on the music. About 1:30pm/2:00pm is when Ana came over. About that time is when we moved to the bigger dance area. She informed us of the things we needed to change. During the rehearsal I had tried to edit the music a bit. But that was hard to do. Ana started to give me notes on how to edit the music, so because the dancers didn’t need the music at the time I started to try to edit the music, but Ana just said to take notes, & not to edit it right now. So I did as she said. As Ana was giving me notes during the day about what to changed, I would respond with okay, (I guess that is an American thing to do) but it must mean something different here, because after I said it a few times, Ana seemed to get a little mad & said no, its not okay it needs to be fixed. I decided it would then be better just to nod.
Thursday 18/07/2019
-Internship Day 43 (cuarenta y tres)
-This day Ana had told me yesterday to come in at 11:00am. So that is when I came in. Marina (one of the dancers) was in here when I got here. So that was nice not being the only one here. She said she had to work on something for Tudanzas. At noon I went to Casal de Barri Pou de la Figeuera. But it turns out I missed the memo that there wasn't going to be a rehearsal because everyone had to do something else for Tudanzas. So Ana came around 1-ish & we just sat down & talked about the music, & how she wants me to edit it. I think we have a pretty good idea now of how we want it to sound. I just have to be able to make it happen. I am supposed to work on taking out the piano of this song, for Pleas Don't Leave Me. But that is going to be hard, because I haven't learned how to do that yet. So I searched a lot of videos online trying to figure out how to do it. But it looks like most of the good options used different applications that I don't have, & that coast money which I don't have either. So at this point I still do not know how to take out the piano from the song.
22/07/2019- 25/07/2019
Monday 22/07/2019
-Internship Day 44 (cuarenta y cuatro)
-This day was long. When I got to the office, I went right to work on the blog. & then I tired to work on the beat for the music. But that is very hard to do. I have been trying since Thursday.
At noon I went over to Casal de Barri Pou de la Figeuera & I tried to work more on the music until Ana came. Ana came around 1pm. Then we started to all work on this. Ana gave instructions to the dancers, & to me. She showed the dancers how they should be moving their bodies & expressing themselves. During the rehearsal Ana let me know that she likes the sound that I have in the background playing.
She also let me know that the dancers will in fact be having these big skirts that they will be using to dance with. I am curious to see how that will go, because the dancers have not been practicing with big skirts on, they have been practicing in shorts & pants. & I know at least in a theater perspective that when it comes to costumes it is very different walking around in pants compared to a big skirt. Which is why for theater rehearsals the actors will have a big skirt on, even if it is not the exact same skirt that they will be performing in, that way, the actor knows how they can be moving in their costume once they get to wear it on the stage. That is not even talking about dancing. Wow.
Ana let me know that I need to be more connected with the dancers. I need to memorize their dance, & know exactly what part of the music is each moment. So basically I need to memorize their whole dance, & know exactly what music is playing at each & every part of the dance. I will try my best to do that. I have been writing down times of some of the movements for the dance.
One interesting thing to watch is the way that Ana worked with Marina; Marina needed her dance movements to be louder & less soft. A lot harsher. So Ana was practicing & practicing with her. At one point she had Marian scream as she danced. The first time she did the scream rehearsal, I really saw the difference. I do not know how best to describe it, but it just opened it all up.
We all worked at Casal de Barri Pou de la Figeuera until 4:00pm, that is when Ana showed me were the lights are. She told me that tomorrow, when I have time to come in, & make the room dark, & then set up the 4 lights that Casal de Barri Pou de la Figeuera has. & I need to think about where I want each of the lights to go. Then once Ana comes in for rehearsal on that day, I can show her, what I think & then she will tell me what she thinks. After that, this is when the dancers left, & Ana & I went to the office.
I went back to the office for a few hours to work on the music, & making sure that I create a mp3 version of the music & then I sent that out to everyone, Ana, Sarah, & Marina. So that way they can all hear the music as much as they would like, & so they can remember it, so they know how to dance to it. I sent that email out to everyone, & I worked on the blog. I also worked a little on the do list, because I sometimes forget I have to check things off on that. I sent the new version of the song to Ana at about 6:30pm & she gave me a list of things to work on it. She told me to check out the song at 01:11 with headphones on, & at 01:57 & at 01:59 & at 02:02 & at 02:08 & at 02:09 & at 02:17. She also said this, "It sounded so good before, I don’t understand why you changed so much, it sounds like shit.” I had only changed one thing, the transiton between the beat & the start of the song Paris 4. She let me know that some other things weren't working. Like I need to work on the transntion more. The loops are not working. & at 01:17 I need to work on the transition. She also said that she thought this was sounding alot better, but this isn't as good as you can do, you need to do better. & she told me to go deeper. After that I had to go, I left my headphones at my apartment that day, so I left the office about 7:00pm.
Tuesday 23/07/2019
-Internship Day 45 (cuarenta y cinco)
-This day when I got to the office, I was the only one there. I was in the office for a few hours until noon & then I went over to Casal de Barri Pou de la Figeuera, to work on the dance with the dancers. During that time the dancers would tell me what parts of the song they wanted to listen to, & I would play it for them as they practiced the dance. So that way they could be able to work on matching the music with the dance, & the beat they need to dance at. We worked in the smaller room in Casal de Barri Pou de la Figeuera, for a while, & then once the bigger room was empty we moved over there. I did not have a chance to work with the lights because right as we got all set up in the bigger room that is right when Ana showed up. So we began to practice the dance. & rather than do something silly like take time out of the dance rehearsal time to look at the lights, I figured I could just do it later. So we practiced the dance a lot. Honestly for this rehearsal Ana did not give me a lot of notes. She did mention that she couldn’t hear the thing she heard yesterday at 01:11 & 01:57 & 01:59, & 02:02 & 02:08 & 02:09, & 02:17. I told her I hadn’t been able to work on that yet, so I don’t know what the issue is, but that I thought it might be the hum. So Ana told me to try to just cut the first part of the hum, & set that on a repeat & see if that fixed the issue. Ana also told me to make the hum longer in general, like longer than the rest of the songs. Rehearsal ended at about 3:30pm this day. & so Ana told me that tomorrow the time we are rehearsing is form 1:00pm to 6:00pm. So either I could either stay late today & edit the music or I could come in tomorrow before 1:00pm. I said I would come in tomorrow, because I was very hungry at the time.
Wednesday 24/07/2019
-Internship Day 46 (cuarenta y seis)
-This day when I got to the office I was the only one there. Also the music was playing again, the same song on repeat. So I worked on the blog. & my checklist. Ana came in to the office & listened to the music, she informed me that she did not like the change I made. I let her know I only changed one thing, that Ana told me to change. But Ana did not want to hear the reasons; she just wanted me to fix it. So after a few trial & errors, I was able to figure out that Ana did not like one sound effect that was in the song. That sound effect had been there for over a week, so that's why it took some time to figure out what par Ana didn't like in the song.
When we got to Casal de Barri Pou de la Figeuera, to rehearse the dance, the sound equipment wasn't being nice. So I was struggling to get it to work the way we needed it be. In fact when I plugged in my laptop to the room's speaker system, it sounded so muggy, it was really bad. It made my song sound awful. But because of lack of time, & the fact that I didn't know we were using the room's speaker system rather than the single speaker that we have been using in all of the past rehearsals, I was unable to fix it in time for the rehearsal. So Ana wasn't too happy about that. She informed me that it didn't sound good, & that I needed to get it in order because the next day is the show.
Later on in the day, as we were rehearsing with the music, Ana informed me that part of my song was too long, & that I needed to fix it, before tomorrow. I was confused because that part of the song, we had kept the same for the whole rehearsal process, since the start. I was not sure why now, the day before the show, that is when Ana tells me it's not good & I need to change it. Ana informed me that it was bad that I wasn't prepared for it, I really didn't think I needed to have part of the song cut short, because we have been using the long version the whole rehearsal process. But I did as Ana told me, & I made sure I had a version of the song that was edited to be shorter.

-Internship Day 47 (cuarenta y siete)
-Last Internship Day :(
-This was my last day as an intern at Tudanzas. This was the day where a lot of my past theatre classes helped me.
At the start of the day I edited the music, a lot. I made several versions of the song, trying to get at least one that Ana might be happy with.
When I got to Casal de Barri Pou de la Figeuera, I was able to thankfully find a better sound cable, so it didn't sound so muggy. I was very happy about that. Something about using Casal de Barri Pou de la Figeuera's sound equipment is that sometimes people don't put things back where they belong, or they use things incorrectly. So equipment gets damaged. So I was very happy that we were able to find this AUX cable that wasn't broken.
Soon after the two lovely dancers brought in big red skirts, in the past rehearsals they have been practicing with just whatever clothes they had on at the time. But now they were going to be dancing in big red skirts.
Which can be an issue sometimes. At least in my past experiences, in the theater world, as soon as the costume designer has the idea that one character is going to be wearing a big skirt as their costume for the performance, they will have that actor start rehearsing in a big skirt, even if it's not the same skirt they will be performing in, so the performers can get use to the movements, that they need to make. These skirts are called rehearsal skirts. So I was a little nervous to see how today would go because they had not practiced using theses big skirts, or any skirts at all.
So as soon as the dancers had the skirts on, & were ready to begin rehearsing, Ana was not there at the moment so I let the dancers know about the changes made to the music. How I had a short version & a long version. I told them Ana wanted the short version, & we tried rehearsing to it. But we quickly found out that it was too short of a time for both of the dancers to get out of their skirts. After the first attempt, both of the dancers looked at me with big eyes, & asked if they could hear the longer version. I quickly set that up. As they were rehearsing it, Ana walked in, & she said this is not the version I asked for, I quickly informed her that the dancers needed more time to get out of the skirts. Ana paused & watched, after a while she said, oh you were right about yesterday, we needed this version not the shorter one.
We spent a few hours rehearsing & practicing the dance, mostly so the dancers could get use to dancing with big skirts on. That is adding a whole other element to the dance, the day that we are performing it. So it's understandable that we would need a few hours to work on that big change that was just now included. This is when I was given another job; it was like a combination of set & dresser. I would help the two dancers, they would lie on the floor & I would cover their bodies with the big skirts, I needed to make it look pretty & make sure it kept them covered.
At one point Ana decided we needed to cut one of the dancers skirts, just a little because it was too long on her. So I got to help with that, a little bit of costume helping there.
Ana let me know that I needed to think about how I wanted the lights to look for the dance. She showed me where the lights were that we had, & told me to figure it out.
After rehearsing for a several hours, Ana said that was good for now, & that we would meet up again in a few hours, at the office, & walk over to Casal de Barri Pou de la Figeuera for the performance. Ana told me to hold on to the AUX cable, because she didn't want it to go missing before they needed it. So I was in charge of holding on to it, until the show.
A few hours later, I was back at the office, making sure my song was ready, & that nothing would go wrong. As I was in the office going over everything a few times, & saving copies of the song, as backups. The two lovely dancers came to the door. They had come to the office to get ready for the performance.
Marina had asked me to help her with her makeup. I was as little nervous at first to help, with the makeup because I thought that meant that they wanted their makeup to look like mine, I tend to go extreme with my makeup, lots of colors, lots of dark eyeliner, big wing, & glitter. The reason I was nervous was because I didn't bring any makeup with me. The type of makeup the two dancers brought was not the same type that I use. So I tried to do a wing, but it is difficult to do wing eyeliner with pencil eyeliner. I use liquid liner. But I made it work, & I was able to do a wing. After the dancers looked at it, & after Ana looked at it, they decided they just wanted eyeliner, no wing. Which makes it easier for me to do. So I was able to quickly fix that, & then do the same look on Sara. So that meant that I got to help like a makeup artist would in a show. Kind of.
As I was working on Marina's makeup Ana was working with Sara for the tops for their outfits. The two lovely dancers would be wearing the two big red skirts, & red duck tape as their tops. So Ana was trying to figure out how to place the tape over the dancers chest enough to cover the nipples & make sure the tape would stay in place as they danced. They asked my opinion on a few of the ideas they had, in the end they were able to come up a way to cover their nipples. As they were working on that Ana told me she had things she needed to put on my laptop. Turns out they were videos; my laptop is struggling with storage now, because there are so many flies on my laptop for this internship. But thankfully the videos were able to fit on there, somehow. I did remember at this point to give Ana my keys to the office.
After the costumes & makeup was ready we walked over to Casal de Barri Pou de la Figeuera. I don't think we had enough time to set everything up. Because we had 30 minutes to set up, the sound, do a sound check, set up the lights, & set up projections. I did not even know we had projections until a few minutes before we got to Casal de Barri Pou de la Figeuera. But that is only 30 minutes to set up sound, lights, & projections. Two of which we had never used before in our rehearsals. Ana was stressed & I could feel it & hear it. She began telling me I needed go faster & better with my time. Trust me when I say I wanted nothing more than this go quickly. I quickly set up the sound; we didn't have too many issues there. I also grabbed the cables that we needed for the projector. Ana asked to borrow one of her friend’s cables, that friend was going to see the show this night, & thankfully where he kept this cables wasn't too far from Casal de Barri Pou de la Figeuera, so that was very nice of him, to let us borrow his cable.
My next task was to close all the window blinds, & make sure there was as little light coming into the room as possible.
At this point Ana was struggling with the projection. Apparently the one she normally uses wasn't turning on, so she pulls out this other one from the storage, but wasn't able to turn it on. I attempted to help, because I do have a little experience with projectors, but Ana told me to stop & leave it alone. I did as she asked, & instead went on to work on setting up the lights.
I grabbed the four lights that we had, the cables needed for them, extension cords, & the stands, turns out only one of the stands works. So I set up the one stand, plug in two lights on that stand, turned them on, no problem. I then went over to the other two lights, which because the stand was broken, they were going to be placed on the floor. With the first light there was one no problem. The second light as I tried to plug it in, it wouldn’t turn on, so as I unplugged it, the light shocked me. That wasn't fun. I felt that shock for a few hours. Ana shrugged & told me to put away that light that wasn't working away, & figure out how to make it work with three lights.
After the lights were in place & turned on, I went back to the projector, Ana was on the phone at this time, I assume talking to someone about the projector not working. Because Ana was not near the projector, I started to mess with it, & I was quickly able to figure out how to turn it on, & get it to show what we want to show. I informed Ana that I was able to get it worked, & we tested out the video & the audio. We were able to finalize that.
Then Ana told everyone to let the audience in. I don't remember what time we opened the doors, but I do remember that we were late.
When the audience was in their seats, Ana got up & spoke for a little bit, then had me turn off the lights, & then had me play the videos. She did not tell me if she wanted all of the videos to play at the start, before the dance began, but as soon as the first video start she went into a different room, with the dancers. So I just kept the videos going. I played all three of the videos we had set up. Then the dancers came out, we had the dancers come out in the dark, & I quickly helped them set up their skirts, & then Ana turned on the lights & I started the music. The dance was great, given everything; I thought the dance went really well. At the end the Ana got up & talked some more, & then the audience left. Leaving just the Tudanzas people, I tried to quickly take things down, they needed the lights still set up, & all the windows closed. They needed the lights on, & the windows closed, because they were taking photos of the dancers, in their costume. So I was able to put away the sound equipment & the projector equipment, quietly, trying not to disturb them. After that was put away, I had to wait until they were done taking photos, so I could turn off the lights & put them away. & put the blinds on the windows back to the way they were when we first started.
After all of that, everyone went to a bar to celebrate, I had to leave early because my roommate wasn't feeling well.
