The goal of this project was to create a piece of art based of the prompt "Life on Mars". We chose these prompts from a game called WhatchamaDrawit, the reason I chose this prompt is because it stood out to me and I instantly got an idea for my art piece.

The materials I used for this project were pencil; to outline my original sketch, WaterColors; to have a base color, colored pencil; to color and shade my drawing, and finally sharpie pen; to add final dimensions and shape to my artwork.

First I created my sketch but I realized there was not enough to my sketch and it was missing something so I decided that an alien would be a smart idea to represent the mysterious aspect of Mars and I looked up a couple pictures to inspire my design and also a Mars bar photo for the alien to be holding. I also added sharpie pen at the end to add dimension but looking at the end results I think if I were to go back I would add a lot more contrast because a lot of said contrast went away when the black pen showed up.
