The main idea that guided my artwork was the prompt I chose on Google Classroom. The prompt was a sheep wearing PJ's from this I decided to look at some pictures and use the best of my art skills to create the image I had in my head of a sheep standing on a grassy hill at night wearing cloudy pajamas.

This art piece was made with graphite pencil to sketch out the design, gel pen to finalize the design and make the lines stand out, and finally, colored pencil to add dimension and color to the drawing.

When creating this art I did use a couple of photo references to help me draw fur patterns and create the right dimensions of a sheep. It took about forty-five minutes of sketching and erasing to have a sheep that I was comfortable handing in, and then I went through with pen and colored pencil.  I tried to create a mix between a comic-like design and a more realistic one because I really enjoy realism in the sense that it looks real but I also prefer outlines and simplistic drawings and that is what I would consider my art to be.
