Beautiful Oops

For this project I picked out a paper that has been pre-splotched with ink. I used the ink spots to create an image of two beatles and a snake on a log in the forest.

For this project the ink had already been splotched on the water color paper by Ms. Medsker, but then I pencil to outline my design and colored pencil to fill it in and shade. I used sharpie pen to add an outline and more dimension to my design, then I used a thin marker to outline the background leaves and add more detail to the moss of the tree.

I am happy with the end product for this project but after completing my design and filling in with colored pencil I originally disliked the dimmensions of my art. Although I had planned on adding pen I did not understand the difference it would add to ocntrast and shape in my project so I also used it to shade a little and add characteristic to shape which I think finalized my design and add character. I really explored 2D design in this porject and I really enjoyed it and honestly it makes me consider the idea of looking into a comic book or childrens book for a project.
