Throughout this project, we learned about shading, perspective, and details. My hope was to use what I had learned in class to create a more realistic final drawing of the candy we photographed in class. My main goal was to end up with only purposeful white space, no sketchy lines, and proportional candies.

For the one and two-point perspective, I only used a graphite pencil on drawing paper. For the shaded spheres, I used colored pencils, markers, and watercolors on drawing paper. For the candy still life, I used colored pencils, graphite pencils, and watercolors on drawing paper.

When creating my perspective drawing I should have bolded the lines more to create a better picture. when creating the spheres I decided to use multiple different colors to make the illusions of shapes. For the candy still life, I spend a lot of time figuring out how to put what I learned from the first three drawn into this one. I struggled to shade and add shadows. I scheduled a callback to revise my work and there I revised it to have fewer sketch lines and more realistic shadows, those overall put the peace together to have more realistic properties, versus a 2d drawing. Though the candy isn't extremely realistic I have noticed great bounds when it comes to artistic knowledge, especially after the callback I had scheduled with Ms. Medsker.
