Acrylic paint on watercolor canvas

My idea for Donate Life was to use digital tools(aka Photoshop) to create a floral landscape illuminated by the moon in a purple hue. After a new start, my idea was to have the message be under a weeping willow as they represent hope and in many ways remind people of childhood or at least for me.

The tools I used for my digital approach were the brush tool in Photoshop and using layers to create flowers from pictures I had taken earlier. For the "Hope Tree" I painted on watercolor canvas because it seemed durable yet flexible so not only could I bring it home but it wouldn't wrinkle. On the canvas, I used acrylic paint because not only was it a medium I hadn't used in a while but it was the only resource I had at home.

The first issue I encountered with this project was that after spending hours on learning to use the tools and actually working on my project the Photoshop tools stopped working to try and fix this problem I tried rebooting and refreshing and even copying my work onto another platform. this seemed not to work,  although I used this project as a way for me to learn more about Photoshop it also took up a lot more time and stress than I had ever expected.  As a result of not being able to figure out how to get the tools to work, I restarted my project completely and worked on my willow tree instead as it not only looked better but I was using a more comfortable medium. Not only did the finished project look better but I enjoyed creating it much more.
