Sustained Investigation #15

For this project I only had limited projects at home but I wanted to incorperate both my younger self and older self in the piece.

For material I used origami paper because it is what I had on my, sharpie to create the detail, most importantly some music sheets for piano as my base.

I really liked the idea of the detail being in the background with all of the music notes, and I tried not to add too much black to the image in fear of it becoming to busy and losing center, but at the same time it is very simple. I think if I wanted to create a better dynamic the music should somehow flow together in maybe red or purple notes so they also stand out. But I wanted to submit this piece for sure before making any dramatic changes. At the same time I am very happy with the cutouts, but the background being so big takes away from the detail and unity of the pieces.
