Headliner account: You need to sign up/log in at https://headliner.app/ or through Make by Headliner, depending on your version. Headliner
Audio file or source: MP3, WAV, or a link from where you can get the clip you want.
Visual assets: Optional but beneficial: background image or video, logo, branding colors to maintain consistency.
Log in to Headliner.app
Click Create New Project / Audiogram
Upload your audio (or pull from podcast feed)
Trim/select the part of the audio you want
Generate captions (auto) → edit if needed
Pick the video style: square, vertical, or landscape (depends on platform)
Add a background image/video (or use a template)
Turn on and style the waveform (color, position)
Add your text, logo, or branding
Preview the video → check captions & audio sync
Export video (choose quality/size)
Download and share on social media
Log In
Go to Headliner and login
Start a New Audiogram Project
On the dashboard at the top it says Create
Scroll down to the Templates section to begin a new audiogram.
Select the plain one with just the cover art (with microphone) and a waveform
Once that's selected, a window will popup - click on Open advanced editor
Select the Audio Segment
Once the new project populates, scroll down to the Tracks
Click on the default audio track and delete it
After the default audio track is deleted, click on the blue plus sign to add your audio
Upload your audio file - saved in DB:

Trim / Select the Audio Segment
After the audio is uploaded, mark the start and end times of the clip you will create an audiogram of
Preview to ensure you have clean start/end (avoid cutting mid-word etc.)
After the audio is trimmed, click on Add to Video
Choose Background
Choose or upload background: the latest WWW podcast episode image
Saved in DB: Dropbox > 2022 Virtual Assistant Team > MARKETING > 00. WWW PODCAST > 04. Audiogram > 01. Audiogram Graphics
Add Waveform / Visual Effects
Enable the audio waveform
Select the 'Rounded
Caption Styling & Text Display
Pick font, font size, color and contrast so subtitles are readable.
Decide if you want captions to be auto-scrolling, block caption, timed appearance etc.
Include necessary onscreen text: names, context, “Episode #”, or a call-to-action where needed.
Branding & Final Visual Touches
Add logo or watermark if desired.
Include intro/outro screens if part of your brand style.
Ensure any transitions are smooth.
Preview
Use preview mode. Check for visual glitches, alignment, audio quality, caption synchronicity.
Play through entire clip to see if anything needs adjusting (clip ends too abruptly, background distracting etc.).
Export Settings
Choose output resolution (1080p, etc.) and aspect ratio.
Confirm export settings match platform requirements (YouTube, Instagram, etc.).
Decide whether you want watermark (if on a free plan) or not.
Export / Download
Export video. Wait for processing.
Download the file in your preferred format (usually MP4).
Publish / Share
Upload to your social media / video platform.
Add captions / description / hashtags / link back to full episode if applicable.
Engage: monitor comments, performance.
Archive Project and Assets
Save project within Headliner in case edits needed later.
Keep copies of audio, visuals, final export, srt / text files.
