When you send an email, each step has a role.
1. Job of subject line is to OPEN it
2. Job of email body is to get people to CLICK
3. Job of Landing Page is to Convert to an action or sale
Email Checklist:
Things you MUST check before sending. Ensures the email gets sent and gets clicked on.
Send to your own gmail account first and see if it gets to your primary email (and not the promotional inbox). If it goes to promotional inbox it needs editing.

EMAIL CHECKLIST
1. No paragraphs longer than 3 lines
2. Black Text on white background
3. Standard Helvetica 15px
4. Left aligned as much as possible
5. Nail the preview text with a cliffhanger - first 10 words
6. Banner and header free emails
7. Increase conversation - use trial closes
8. Don't underestimate your P.S. - people scan, create urgency (limited spots, only for the next few days)
9. Must have clear call to action - only ONE action, but multiple links
10. Punctuation of more than 3 is a spam trigger eg: !!! ... ???
11. Subject line - curiosity and intrigue, questions
12. Always test deliverability to your own inbox first - gmail (to ensure it doesn't go to promotional inbox)
13. Bold and underline for easy scanning - important statements so they understand 5-8 each email
14. Run through 'Hemingway" app - set to 12-13 year old
15. Is this going to have a deadline - through deadline funnels

16. For links in the emails, do not use a forward slash as it will cause an error and will not make the links work
17. Send to yourself first to test that the email links are working then Send to Sandy for checking of the texts
18. Make sure the people the email is sent to are provided by Sandy, e.g., "TO: All list; NOT TO: ISCA Coaches"
