Bickington is the nearest parish church to Ingsdon Manor
There is no sign of a Loveland Farm at Bickington near the Ilsington and Ingsdon manor area of south Devon
Bickington is the nearest parish church to Ingsdon Manor - However there is another Bickington near Bideford in North Devon
HOWEVER there still exists a Loveland Farm near Bideford near High Bickington in North Devon, which is close to the coast near Bideford , not very far from Clovelly and about 6 miles away from the Pomeroy group at Abbotts Bickington which I found in Lost Parish Register - on line 1596 -1644 Vol 1 - A-B

Musings Robert 1551
Hugh's great grandfather was Robert but he died 1517 so it can't be him.
There are no other Roberts in the immediate tree and none in Tregony or Sandridge or Stoke Gabriel
So who Robert might be is as yet unknown to me.
Could he be an unrecorded brother to Hugh ??
none of the Roberts I found in FMP fit..
unless my theory is correct & Christopher son of John, brother of Sinclere went to Honiton
I've wondered about that for almost 20 years...
Ingsdon Christopher was buried in Ilsington parish 15 Aug 1590
Did Christopher son of John of Over Ingsdon, now Higher Ingsdon, go to Honiton where he had a son Christopher ?
I have seen some records of men who have died in one place and been taken home to presumable be buried in the family vault, giving money to each place the courtage passed through.
Could Christopher have lived in Honiton and been buried at Ilsington. It would have been an expensive funeral, with a 30 mile journey.
