昨日（２０１２年９月２２日（土曜日））、真夏から晩秋へと、一気に気候が変わってしまった東京。

今日は、ここ２か月分の水分補給を一気にしているかのように、朝から大粒の雨が降り続いています。

Yesterday (September 22, 2012 Saturday), Tokyo went from mid-summer to late autumn; the climate changed suddenly.

As if to make up for the lack of moisture during the past two months, today large drops of rain lasted all morning.

こんな日は、美しい音楽に浸るのも一興。

先日、偶然出逢った、美しい音色をご紹介しましょう。

Fun day like this, I have been immersed in beautiful music.

The other day, I happened upon a beautiful sound.

辻井伸行氏自作・自演の「川のささやき」。

The original composition "Whisper of the River" by Mr. Nobuyuki Tsujii.

彼を知ったのは、２００９年に「ヴァン・クライバーン国際ピアノコンクール」で優勝したとのニュースでした。

「スゴイなぁ。」とは思ったものの、特に興味はなく、３年が経過したのですが、、、

偶然、彼のデビューアルバム「ｄｅｂｕｔ」（２００７年）を聞き、その音色に驚かされました。

I learned about him when he was in the news in 2009, having won the "Van Cliburn International Piano Competition". I thought, "Hey, amazing!"

But I didn't have any special interest. Now three years later, I chanced upon his "Debut" album (2007), and was surprised by the tone.

ピアノで、こんなにふくよかで丸みのある音を出せるものなのですね。

盲目であるがゆえに得られた感性なのでしょうか。

心満たされる音色を、ぜひ、ご堪能ください。

On the piano, he put out a sound that is such rich roundness.

It is perhaps a sensitivity obtained from his blindness.

By all means, please enjoy the sound, which satisfies the heart.

辻井伸行というピアニストを僕はとても勘違いしていたようだ。彼のラヴェルの演奏を聴いてそう思う…彼の演奏には色がない。無色でいて透明だ。それは限りなく澄んだ宝石であり、また清らかな水である。どんな楽曲でさえ、彼はたちどころに(彼自身のものとして)みごとな演奏へと変えてしまうだろう。 Nobuyuki Tsujii, quite a pianist, seems to have been misunderstood. There is no color in his playing ... I think so listening to his performance of Ravel. I am for being transparent and colorless. It is clean water, and it is a gem that the music is as clear as possible. Given any music, he would adapt it to himself to play it in a way that is instantly stunning. -tweet

京都秋の音楽祭で、京都コンサートホールへ行きました。 For the autumn music festival in Kyoto, I went to Kyoto Concert Hall.

... ピアノを弾く辻井さんをみていると、”天使”という言葉が自然とうかんできました。 And, looking Mr. Tsujii play the piano, the word "angel", and came naturally to mind.

ハンディキャップをもった辻井さんだからこそ、損得や邪念を音楽にはさむことなく、”ただただピアノが好き”だという喜びがあふれている様子が伝わってきました。Precisely because Tsujii is with a handicap, he is able to transmit the joy that "he likes nothing but piano" without evil thoughts and the pros and cons in music.

...そして、辻井さんが、非常に愛されて育ったのだと感じました。

And I felt Mr. Tsujii grew up very loved.

...愛にあふれた演奏でした。

This blog post brought back fond memories. It is by a Japanese studying music in Boston, who was at Nobu's recital at the Jordan Hall of New England Conservatory (shown in photos) in April 2011. Nobuyuki Tsujii é o nome do pianista japonês que completa 24 anos em setembro e carrega toda essa magia no seu coração, e não nos olhos, é cego desde o nascimento. Nem por isso deixou de se tornar um intérprete excepcional. Van Cliburn, pianista americano, conhecido por ter vencido o Concurso Tchaikovski em 1958 em Moscou, no auge da Guerra Fria, comentou sobre ele, vencedor há três anos do prêmio que leva seu próprio nome: ‘’Milagre é a única palavra para descrevê-lo. Nobuyuki é efetivamente um ato de Deus’’.

Outros pianistas cegos já se firmaram no mundo da música – de George Shearing, a lenda do jazz que morreu no ano passado, ao ‘’Genius’’ Ray Charles –, mas nunca tinham alcançado tamanha excelência intérpretes cegos de Chopin, Beethoven, Bach. I was there in late autumn, with days that ranged from the cold Siberian and warmer temperatures, with a typical winter tropical sun. On the plane, which took me 26 hours from São Paulo to Narita airport ...

Nobuyuki Tsujii is the name of a Japanese pianist who turns 24 in September and carries all the magic in his heart, not the eyes; he is blind from birth. He is such an exceptional performer that Van Cliburn, American pianist, known for winning the Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow in 1958 at the height of the Cold War, commented on him three years ago, when he became a winner of the award that bears his name: 'Miracle is the only word to describe it. Nobuyuki is effectively an act of God''.

Other blind pianists blind have excelled in the music world - George Shearing, the jazz legend who died last year; the "Genius" Ray Charles - but they did not achieve their excellence as interpreters of Chopin, Beethoven, and Bach. The work of a blind pianist is unimaginable: from learning Braille musical score, to the touch of keyboard -- the'' feel'' without seeing the score is far more complicated. Nobuyuki's victory, like that of the blind Russian Oleg Akkuratov, stimulates the universe of non-seers to liberate his handicap...

早朝から始まったレッスンも、途中に食事もはさみながらで、

September 5 "flowers bloom" special feature which I think was the life force of the plant. The power of music is great again. Nobuyuki Tsujii's favorite piano was soaked in deeply. There was also the wonderful singing voice of a middle school.

I wanted to go to the Sapporo concert , but failed badly (tears)/ I will buy CD instead of a ticket. Part of the proceeds from sales will be donated as relief.

数年前、辻井伸行さんが松山に

チャリティーコンサートに来たときに

ピアノを聴いて、とっても感動したので

今年の日本ツアーも行きたいと思っていたら

いつのまにか、チケットが売り切れていた・・・。

さすが、早い・・・。

前回はチャリティーといえども

普通のコンサートなみだったんだけど

チャリティーだけに座席指定がなく、

コンサートの何時間も前に並んで

とっても良い席で聴くことが出来た。

あぁ・・甘かった・・。

公式ＨＰに「完売」になってたから

無理だな・・・

あとは日程が近くなってから

オークションに出ていないかチェックするくらい。

諦めた方が良さそうだ・・・。

残念・・・・。

Tsujii Concert

A few years ago, Mr. Nobuyuki Tsujii came to Matsuyama to perform in a charity concert. I listened to his piano, was impressed, and really had wanted to go to his Japan tour concert this year. But the tickets were sold out too soon · · ·. Indeed, very soon · · ·. At the last charity concert, I was in line for hours before the concert, but I was able to listen seated in a very good seat. It was sweet ... Ah .... Since then every concert has become "sold out" on his official website... It is impossible unless you pay attention closely, or unless you go to the auction. Giving up looks good. Too bad.

It is not exactly flattering to Nobu. But it says something that concerns me as well, which is how ambitious the upcoming Nobu Japan tour is. The blogger implies that Nobu is being exploited by Avex, and hyped by NHK as in the case of Fujiko Hemming (she is unknown outside of Japan, but I have read about her often in Japanese web postings). There is one sentence that especially grates: 対象は韓流ドラマなどに熱中するおばさんたちだ。 NHKの加勢しているのも心強い (Its target is the aunt addicted to Korean dramas, with the aid of NHK.)

すーっと聴く人の心に入ってくるのよね、彼の心が。

2012.9.5 CD of Mr. Nobuyuki Tsujii scheduled to arrive tomorrow. Mozart Variations on twinkle star. This song, a long time ago I played well. One of my favorite songs. I also love Nobuyuki Tsujii's piano. There are a lot of good pianists other than him, I wonder why ... I like specially his. Perhaps it's his heart. Whenever I listen to him, my mind is cleaned. Piano like that of Mr. A., I remember now. It cannot be helped.

11月に辻井伸行さんの日本ツアー2012/13 高知公演があり

辻井さんが高知公演に来る事があれば絶対聞きに行きたいと思っていた所、7月に新聞で先行予約の記事を発見、抽選と言う事で申し込んでいた所、先日チケットが届きました。1250席の募集に2000席の申し込みがあったそうです。自力でチケットを手に入れるのは難しかったので一安心嬉しいです。

私自慢じゃないけど、クラシック、ピアノ等を聞いても全然チンプンカンプン、歌に至っては音痴(笑)

限界 (Limit)

この前ＴＶで帯広在住の盲目の女の子がロンドンパラリンピックに出場するという

話題を見ました。この女の子は先天的に目が不自由で、生まれてから一度も光を

感じた事がないそうです。

...

ピアノの辻井伸行さんも、その道で超一流の存在になりました。

一体どのようにして楽譜を見る事ができない彼があそこまで弾けるようになったのか。

血の滲むよな努力があった事は間違いないと思います。

私達は、つい自分で限界を決めてしまい、それ以上の高みへと行こうとしません。

死ぬ気でやれば、この限界というリミッターは解除されると思うのですが。

ピアニスト辻井伸行さんがゲストでした♪

子供の頃、数々の素晴らしい賞を獲得した時に、まだ幼い辻井さんが、

「賞をいただくことより、聴いてくれる皆さんをうっとりさせたかった。」

結果でなく、相手を思う優しい言葉に、感動しました。

また、即興で曲を作って披露した場面は、

優しい曲を聴いていたら、、涙がこぼれてきました。

純粋な姿、今を精一杯生きる姿は、人の心を打ちます。

I saw the ""Osumituki" show on Asahi BS ☆ (August 23)

♪ Mr. Nobuyuki Tsujii pianist was a guest when he was a child, and although still young, he has already won many awards. But he said, "More than to get the awards, I want to enthrall the audience." 辻井伸行君のコンチェルトが終った。アシュケナージとゲルギエフとの共演を経て一回り大きく成長したと感じた。指揮の小林先生にもお会いした。数年前に聴かせて頂いた時よりもさらに円熟した指揮。素晴らしいサポートだった。

クラシックファンでもないのに、なぜか心を打たれたCD Although I am no classical music fan, somehow I am touched by this CD (Nobuyuki Tsujii "Debut")

だが、このCDは、録音が極めて優秀であると感じた。 The sound of this CD is excellent.

それは、辻井さんの演奏技術が優れていることもさながら、心が楽器に宿った様な表現が、スピーカーを通して聞き手に伝わってくること、何度聞いても、心を打たれる。Tsujii's technique is excllent, making expressions with the musical instrument which plays the role of interviewer for a speaker, and I was also touched by that.

自分が今まで生で聞いたピアノとは、格別違う感銘を受けた、最低域から最高域まで、凄いリアルである。The piano comes to life. I was particularly impressed by a wide range from highest to lowest frequencies, it is really amazing.

「debut」は、発売当時、AmazonのCD売上ランキング1位になったとか、

メディアの影響もあるだろうが、納得できる感動の音である、When it wss released, this album climbed to No. 1 on Amazon, perhaps benefiting from media exposure. But it is the sound that carries the day.

この秀作は、オーディオチェックのためのリファレンスCDに加えたい。Excellent work, this is a benchmark for the sound quality of a CD.

I just watched the Osumitsuki show. Oh, what a wonderful show it was and how sweet Nobu is! ... I especially enjoyed the Twelve Variations on "Ah vous dirai-je, Maman" - it was so elegant, clear and beautiful. And that impromptu he improvised for the show - it was so beautiful that the hostess of the show cried.
