... Nobuyuki Tsujii is a virtuoso pianist, someone the classical music business is betting on and is promoting more than other big winners of international piano competiencias. Let's just hope that this choice is not just a mere act of marketing as in the case of <blind tenor> Andrea Bocelli in opera singing. Unfortunately, money counts and these things happen. However, we applaud the fact that they recognize the great talent of this artist for whom learning has been harder than usual for a pianist. The concert is a very good show, with a repertoire that includes his own elegy composed by the pianist in honor of the victims of the earthquake and tsunami of March 2011 as well as his arrangement of a <Stephen> Foster song <"Jeanie with the Light Brown Hair">, proving that the young 24 years old also has talents that go beyond mere piano playing.

"Nobuyuki Tsujii: Live at the Carnegie Hall" is a highly enjoyable concert and that allows the presentation of this young pianist who garnered a top award in an international piano competition. The repertoire has been carefully chosen to display the artist's broad talent and impressive technique, which were rewarded with a standing ovation from the audience of Carnegie Hall.

Video quality: 4 out of 5

The quality of image transfer on this Blu-ray edition of Naxos EuroArts USA and is very good with good camera movements in the film giving a concert because of something that is agile as static as a grand piano on scenario and its artist. Closeups give us the perfect opportunity to participate in both the virtuosity of Nobuyuki Tsujii and their feelings in implementing different scores.

Audio quality: 4 out of 5

The audio transfer is maintained very well and is heard on both channels. The channel DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 more performance highlights offering greater depth and better EQ, but not much more. However, music publishing is superbly equalized transfer allowing superior piano sounds.

Nobuyuki Tsujii en vivo en el Carnegie Hall. Blu-ray Review

Nobuyuki Tsujii es un pianista virtuoso, por algo el negocio de la música clásica está apostando a él y lo está promocionando más que a otros ganadores de grandes competiencias internacionales de piano. Sólo esperemos que su elección no sea sólo un mero acto de marketing por el hecho de su no videncia y que traten de posesionarlo en base a eso como a Andrea Bocelli en el canto lírico. Lamentablemente, el dinero cuenta y estas cosas pasan. No obstante, aplaudimos el hecho que se reconozca el gran esfuero y talento de este artista para quien el aprendizaje ha sido más duro que para un pianista normal. El concierto es un muy buen concierto, con un repertorio que incluye la propia elegía compuesta por el pianista en honor a las víctimas del terremoto y tsunami de Marzo del 2011 así como también un tema de Foster arreglado por él, lo que prueba que el joven de 24 años tiene también talentos que sobrepasan la mera ejecución del piano.

“Nobuyuki Tsujii: Live at the Carnegie Hall” es un concierto altamente disfrutable y que permite dar a conocer a este joven pianista que viene cocechando lauros en las mejores competencias internacionales de piano. El repertorio ha sido cuidadosamente elegido para desplegar el amplio talento del artista y su impresionable técnica, que son retribuidos con la ovación de pie de los espectadores del Carnegie Hall.

CALIDAD DE VIDEO: 4 of 5

La calidad de transferencia de imagen en la presente edición en blu-ray de Naxos USA y EuroArts es muy buena, con buenos movimientos de cámara en la filmación dándonos como consecuencia un concierto ágil en algo que es tan estático como un piano de cola sobre el escenario y su artista. Primeros planos perfectos nos brindan la oportunidad de participar tanto del virtuosimo de Nobuyuki Tsujii como de sus sentimientos en la ejecución de las diferentes partituras.

CALIDAD DE AUDIO:: 4 of 5

La transferencia de audio es cuidada y se escucha muy bien en ambos canales. El canal DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 resalta algo más la performance ofreciéndonos una mayor profundidad y mejor ecualización, pero no mucho más. No obstante, la edición musical está ecualizada excelentemente permitiendo una superior transferencia de los sonidos del piano.
