辻 井伸行の去年１１月のカーネギーでのパフォーマンスをArte（テレビ）で観賞したばかり。ウィーンでのリサイタルが楽しみです。辻井さんが作曲された大 震災のエレジーも、悲しいけれど前向きに生きたいという意志が伝わってきた気がしました。彼も日本国も将来有望ですね。Just watch on Arte TV the performance of Nobuyuki Tsujii at the Carnegie in November last year . I look forward to his recitals in Vienna.

19時過ぎ、偶然つけたテレビにどこかのホールでのピアノ演奏会が映っていて
どうやらアジアチックの音楽家のようだ、目が見えない人なのかなと、眺めていたら
演奏はそのままで画像が切り替わって、NYのような街にいる演奏者の様子が映り
へえNYに住んでるのかな、これは音楽仲間、これはお父さん？とか。
番組放映局のARTEのサイトを調べたら、カーネギーホールで去年11月に行なわれた
辻井伸行（Nobuyuki Tsujii）という日本人ピアニストのリサイタルとのこと。
そうなんだ、と弾く姿、映し出された映像を見ていたら、急に込み上げて来た涙。

どうした
（映像効果か？読み取ったもの：色とりどりの夜のNY街、広い舞台で独り弾く姿、目が見えないこと、付き添いの父親の助け、仲間、見えない努力。）
再放送は５月４日金曜日と１０日木曜日の朝６時からとのことだけど。

By chance, swtiched on the TV at 19:00. The Image on screen looked like an Asian musician, on a piano in a concert hall. I recognized the scenes are from New Yrok.
After examining the ARTE broadcast program, I realized that I was staching the recital of Japanese pianist Nobyuki Tsujii held in November last year at Carnegie Hall that Nobuyuki Tsujii (Nobuyuki Tsujii).
I watched the video and his play as projected, and suddenly tears came.
What is the matter?
(Or is it the visual effects? Colorful night lights of NY town, playing alone on a wide stage, unseeing eyes, a father-like escort or companion.)
But there is a re-broadcast at 6 in the morning of Friday 04 May.

It was good enough to repeat many times..

This set, as a benefit CD, a live recording of a solo recital for the first time has been included at the age of 12. I will be over the moon as a pianist if each of these CDs brings little impression to the hearts of those who listen to it.

I saw him last night at the bridge water hall playing chopins piano concerto, and it brought me to tears! And then even more so when I found out he was blind. Even though are blind pianists, like stevie wonder, they just don't compare! Because his technique is through the roof!!!! I was fishing for news from Berlin (where Nobu gave a recital in the evening), but found many good blog posts about other recent concerts instead:

His (Nobu's) performance of the pieces written by great composers are of course excellent, but I prefer his own compositions. I also like the way he looks when he performs them - he really looks so happy with his smiles and swaying his head. I truly look forward to enjoying the composer Nobuyuki Tsujii's world when I see the Hayabusa movie. -- blog

BIG let-down today when I tuned in to BBC3 to listen to the Mar 2 performance of BBC-Philharmonic+Nobu+Sado in Henley, only to hear this repeated announcement "This show cannot be heard due to rights restrictions." Bummer!!! http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01cvm6t
Fortunately, hours later I checked back and the performance can be heard after all - thank you, BBC3!

I of course tweeted back to correct him - Nobu is only 23 years old - will turn 24 on September 13.

This Japanese blog post , by a piano student, is entitled "Nobuyuki Tsujii style practice" 辻井伸行式練習. Apparently the teacher of this blogger told him/her to do the "Nobuyuki Tsujii Style Practice" 辻井伸行式練習 -- playing without looking at the score or the keyboard. This person wrote that it was a frightening experience, especially with Chopin's Etudes. I too have tried this experiment and I cannot begin to imagine how Nobu can play works such as Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1 -- I wait with bated breath to witness him perform Prokofiev's No. 3 this May in London. 作曲については、あまり仕事を急がずに、
いろいろと勉強したほうがいいように思う。
そうしないと、せっかくの才能と情熱が
