Release Date: 6 April 2018

Label: Atlantic Records

Genre: Hip Hop

Cardi B’s new album “Invasion of Privacy” consists of style, sass and is filled with personality that has placed her amongst some of the best rappers in the world. Cardi’s ability to seamlessly blend into any style she touches, takes her album to a whole new level! This is clearly evident in the wide range of songs in “Invasion of Privacy”, shuffling from pop to rap. She portrays her supercilious attitude, endless quotability, and versatility as an artist in each of her songs, adding her own sense of passionate bars. The album is conspicuous, bald and upfront. Cardi raps with fire and force; even after her past being filled with domestic violence.

Cardi’s raps have always exuded confidence and charm, but with Invasion of Privacy she grabs her seat on the rap throne through punishing and relentless taunts. She is fully self-aware and seemingly unstoppable. In this album she expressed confidence and lets out her emotions in such an impressive way and leaving us guilty and in shock. One of my personal favourites from this album is, “Yellow Bodak”, where she continuously taunts her enemies and boasts about her power moves, "I don't dance now, I make money moves. Say I don't gotta dance, I make money move...I'm a boss, you a worker, b****, I make bloody moves" Before slaying her adversaries in lyrics, Cardi was a famously known stripper in New York City. However, now she’s a respected star on the hip-hop and rap scene. Cardi B’s self confidence and attitude towards life, influences her audience to become independent and teaches them to love themselves. This album is definitely a great source of entertainment for the mature audience who enjoys hip hop music with a lot of stance, sass, rhythm and a great beat!
