Appreciation Day 2019
Another semestre is about to end and once again A-day has come around. On July 5th we will acknowledge the efforts of every staff member in our College. The cool people here at the library have prepared a special token to show our appreciation for the teachers and staff so they’d feel extra special. You can show your appreciation too by:
Writing letters
Composing poems
Recording short video performances
Making encouraging notes
We have placed a specially designed box in the library so you can drop off your letters/poems/notes by lunch time on Thursday (July 4th). If you wish to record a performance, send your video to egutierrez@parra.catholic.edu.au and we’ll make sure your teacher will receive your message.
We are honouring teachers and staff this year as they do the hard work daily for us, to make sure all of us students receive the best education possible. Appreciation Day 2019 is celebrated in our College so that the teachers (and staff) know that we are grateful for all their efforts and TLC. And because of that, we will leave them with a little mark of love….a bookmark. These student-made cute bookmarks are created out of respect and adoration, and we are sending this sentiment directly to the hearts of OUR teachers.
So make sure on July 5th, look out for your teachers (present and past) and let them know on this splendid day that they are appreciated by saying “Happy A-Day!” or “Thank You!”.
