how to

Arthur Weasley taught us that curiosity is a good thing.

‘How to...’

Have you ever wondered how to do something? Or how things work? Maybe you’re trying to print an image or boil an egg. It doesn’t really matter on what you’re trying to find out. Usually when you are in these types of situation you turn to Google or YouTube. And yes, there are plenty of those videos around. But what if I say a peer of yours can show you how--how to do stuff. You no longer need to refer to such old methods. The Library Website is presenting something new, something exciting, something student-made...and we would love for you to be part of it.

The library is creating an online community of how to’ videos produced by your very own peers. Girls of Nagle has taken up the challenge and responsibility to show their fellow peers on how to do everyday things in a short but entertaining video. It’s a proven fact that youth turn to their peers more than they do to adults for one very good reason...comfort. Rather than taking advice from an adult, hearing tips from your friends has a more lasting effect on a person. It is also a proven fact that every person has experienced this.

So next time you want to learn how to boil an egg, instead of just googling it, turn to the library website and your peers will show you how. If you wish to be the one of the students who want to show your skills on something, then simply send your how to’ video to Mr. G using his email: egutierrez@parra.catholic.edu.au. Now students of Nagle have fun learning ‘how to’...
