The Fallen book series by Lauren Kate is a beautiful escape from reality, constructed with multiple suspenseful scenarios which only leads you to read more and more of its pages. Personally, my imagination has helped me travel to this alternate universe in the book where angels exist and love occurs in such a beautiful and passionate way. As Lucinda falls head over heels for mysterious Daniel, she is confronted with a terrifying past that she doesn't quite understand nor recall. Interesting right?

This book series screams complicated romance between the protagonists, and painful truths amongst so many events that develop strong and admirable characters like Lucinda and Daniel. Teenagers will truly relate with the characters. Well I did!

To all book lovers who appreciate dark gothic romance and plot twists at almost any corner, this series is without a doubt for you.
