It is important that staff are able to communicate quickly and effectively with each other.
Use the appropriate cables to connect each monitor to the corresponding ports on your computer. Make sure the cables are securely inserted into the ports.
Once connected, you may need to adjust the monitor settings to optimize the display. This can be done through the monitor's on-screen menu, which is typically accessed through buttons on the monitor itself. Adjust options like brightness, contrast, and screen orientation as desired.
Once the configuration is complete, test your dual monitor setup. Move windows or applications between monitors to ensure everything is working as expected.
For Windows:
Right-click on the desktop and select "Display settings" from the context menu.
Under the "Multiple displays" section, choose the desired configuration (extend, duplicate, or show only on 1 or 2).
Drag and arrange the monitor icons to match the physical placement of your monitors if necessary.
Adjust resolution, scaling, and other display settings as needed.
For macOS:
Click on the Apple menu and select "System Preferences."
Choose "Displays."
Go to the "Arrangement" tab.
Arrange the monitors to match their physical placement.
Adjust resolution and other settings as desired.
The video below shows the 4 steps above on how you can setup a dual monitor.
