Types of Awards

1.  Keynote Speaker of the Year Award (Know more about this)- This award acknowledges speakers who have the capacity to engage a diverse variety of audiences, captivate them with their style, delivery and humour and deliver a message that conveys their expertise.

2. The Nevin Award (Know more about this) - The Nevin Award is the Professional Speakers Australia’s most cherished honour. It is awarded annually to a member whose outstanding contribution to Professional Speakers Australia and to the speaking industry over the years have earned the utmost respect, honour and admiration in the Association and the profession. They are a Professional Speakers hero. 

3. Next Level Speaking Award (formerly Breakthrough Speaker of the Year Award) (Know more about this)- This award is designed to recognise and identify emerging speakers who have achieved recent extraordinary prominence and/or major transformation and success.

Nominees and Awardees are individuals who have captured the attention and fascination of the marketplace. More than simply an overnight success or flavour of the moment, the winning speaker may well have been speaking for an extended period of time but has recently gained traction or achieved a breakthrough. Alternatively, they may be a new-comer emerging in the industry who displays great potential as a future thought-leader/influencer.

4. National President's Award for Outstanding Contribution (Know more about this)- This award acknowledges and appreciates a member of our speaking profession who has contributed beyond any reasonable expectation during the previous 12 months.  The recipient may be a member at any level either of PSA or of any other GSF Association. This Award may not be given every year.

5. The Educator of the Year Award (Know more about this)- This award acknowledges and appreciates a member of the speaking profession who has contributed beyond any reasonable expectation during the previous 12 months.  The recipient may be a member at any level either of PSA or of any other GSF Association. This Award may not be given every year.

6. RealLeaders Top Keynote Speaker Award (Know more about this) - The Real Leaders Top Keynote Speakers Awards is an annual recognition program that honors influential speakers who drive positive change through their messages and leadership. Organized by Real Leaders magazine, the awards highlight individuals who inspire action and promote sustainable leadership.

1. Australian Event Awards and Symposium (www.eventawards.com.au) - Recognizes the best events and event-related services in Australia, covering a range of categories. The Australian Event Awards and Symposium is the national awards program and conference for the Australian events industry, fostering continued excellence, innovation and unity.

Categories:

• Best Corporate Event (Apply here)- Awarded to an event that best achieves business outcomes, achieves the client’s KPI’s, a non-brand event that delivers an outstanding experience for attendees. The primary purpose of the event must have been delivering corporate outcomes. The event is either a live or hybrid event which has taken place in Australia with an audience attendance at the physical event; or a broadcast (including online) event which was created, managed, packaged and initiated in Australia. (For the avoidance of doubt, international broadcast platform suppliers can be used, but the broadcast must have been initiated in Australia). The event must have been principally organized by people who are Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents of Australia.

• Corporate Event Management Company of the Year (Apply here) - This Award recognizes an event management company that has delivered a corporate event or events at a consistently exceptional level over a 12 month period. Corporate Event Management must be the primary business of the Entrant.

• Small Event Management Company of the Year (Apply here) - This Award recognizes a company that has employed no more than 5 employees who have worked over 400 hours each and delivered an event or events at a consistently exceptional level over a 12 month period. Event Management must be the primary business of the Entrant.

2. Adventure Tourism Awards (Know more about this) - This award recognizes excellence in the adventure tourism sector, including adventure tours, outdoor experiences, and ecotourism. 

3. 2023 MEA Awards (Know more about this) - The MEA Awards is the most prestigious and highly-regarded event industry awards program in Australia. The MEA Awards are open to the Australian events industry's event organisers, venues, and suppliers. It offers 39 awards across eight diverse categories to event professionals across Australia who have organised, supplied or hosted an event over the last twelve months.

A.) MEA Platinum Awards - The MEA Platinum Awards are awarded by MEA to the highest-scoring submission within the following categories: Event of the Year Awards, Company Awards and Individual Awards. These trophies are awarded at the National Awards night, which will be held in June 2024.

4. The Luxperience Awards (Know more about this) - Recognises inspirational and influential products/projects within the high-end and experiential travel, as well as within the premium events industry. The finalists and winners uncover the organisations setting industry standards and excelling in their field. Only registered buyers and exhibitors of Luxperience 2020 are eligible to nominate for the Luxperience Awards.

Categories:

• Inspiring Award - Recognises excellence in the planning and development of innovative product/s and/or services through entrepreneurial vision, market leadership and uniqueness. Nominees are judged on their entrepreneurial vision for creating a product or service for the high-end leisure travel or business events consumer which demonstrates innovation and inspires enhanced awareness of the potential within luxury and experiential travel. The product or service can be either a one off or ongoing offering.

• Meaningful Award - Recognises excellence in the pursuit of preservation, sustainable tourism practices and/or environmental factors as its key goal. Nominees are judged based on the individual or organisation's demonstrated approach and innovation in efforts aimed at the preservation of the environment, the raising of social awareness, promotion of cultural and/or historic elements of an experience, product or destination, and how the program was successful in accomplishing its goals.

• Connections Award - Recognises marketing strategy and campaigns which effectively CONNECT with key target markets within the luxury or high-end experiential travel space OR events and/or incentives. Nominees are judged on the strength of their marketing strategy and/or campaign to attract their target market. This can include website design and functionality, SEO/SEM and emerging online strategies such as channel extension and community development through social media platforms and /or loyalty programs.

1. Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards (Apply here) -  Brandon Hall Group is known for recognizing achievements in learning and development, including corporate training. They offer awards in various categories such as learning technology, content creation, and leadership development.

2. Spice Hot 100: Services and Suppliers (Know more about this)- This is a fantastic opportunity to show some love for the hard-working businesses that make up the business events sector. There are 20 categories to vote in, with the top five winners in each category to be published in the upcoming Spring issue of Spice Magazine. Categories include event management, event technology, catering, entertainment, transport, decor and design, best virtual event platform and more.

3. Employee Experience Awards (Know more about this) - Designing a robust employee experience and recognizing the best is crucial for industry benchmarking. This pan-Asia awards show is aligned to fill market needs and highlight four key elements of a holistic EX approach: leadership, learning, employee engagement and talent acquisition.

• Best Executive Coaching Programme -This category recognizes HR teams that have designed executive coaching programmes tailored to help senior executives become adaptive, innovative and more agile business leaders. Focused on rewarding HR teams that have either organized in-house transformational coaching or collaborated with external vendors, the programmes that shift behaviours and mindsets while fuelling business growth will win.

• Best Management Training Programme - Focused on grooming high potential talent across various career stages from early, mid to top-level for leadership positions, judges are on the lookout for effective and all-rounded management training programmes. Entries that showcase how relevant and consistent management training has enabled the talent to execute business strategies, and contribute to long-term success will be frontrunners in the judges’ eyes.

• Best Succession Planning Strategy - Managing succession has come more into focus than ever before. Judges are on the lookout for the future-focused practice of identifying the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform certain functions and then developing and executing a plan to prepare multiple individuals to potentially perform those functions.

Business XCellence Awards (Know more about this) - The Business xCellence Awards stand as a coveted acknowledgment of business accomplishments, presenting outstanding opportunities for both finalists and winners.
