Pros of Stripe
Accepts most payment methods, including credit cards, and debit cards
Easy to integrate with most websites and apps.
Offers a wide range of features, such as recurring billing, invoicing, and fraud prevention.
Customer support
Cons of Stripe
Can be expensive for high-volume businesses.
Spam Payments
We had some fraudulent activity on our Stripe account, called card testing. This is when someone tries to use a stolen credit card to make a small, test purchase.
We were able to solve this issue by adding additional security features to our WooCommerce integration, such as CAPTCHA.
We also disconnected and reconnected Stripe with WooCommerce on our website. This process essentially acts as a refresh, ensuring that the connection between Stripe and our website is reset and re-established.
Unprocessed payments
When client has made payment but transaction has failed
To resolve issue, we need to inform client through the following steps: Log in to Stripe > select All payments > open unsuccessful payment > take a screenshot > email to client for verification and for action
