Catch people’s attention
People can quickly form an opinion about a piece of mobile advertising. Keep your ad simple and straightforward to grab your audience’s attention before they move on.
Keep your text and headline short and simple. Focus on communicating one important thing that might entice customers to visit your website.
Show a product close-up or a customer using your products or services. Free stock images are available too.
You can also try a carousel of multiple images or a video to showcase multiple products or tell a story.
For videos, try to include your business logo in the first 3 seconds and make sure to highlight your products or services for most of the video.
How to reach the right people
It’s recommended to add interests only if your audience is at least 2 million people.
Duration and Budget
Give it time and avoid frequent changes. Don’t touch your ad for at least 7 days. Facebook needs this time to learn more about the best people to show your ad to and stabilize performance.
Publish (a little) early. If your ad is time sensitive, make sure you publish it 24 hours ahead of time. New ads undergo an approval process and do not go live immediately. Publishing your ad ahead of time will allow it to complete this process and give you time to fix any issues that may arise.
Understand your ad performance
Cost per result - See how much you paid per appointment booking, post engagement, or other result, depending on the type of ad you ran. This helps you make comparisons between ads even if their budgets are different.
Demographics - check the gender breakdown and age range distribution of the people you reached. You may find that you should edit the audience for your next ad to focus on specific demographics that are performing better than others.
Locations - If your audience included multiple cities, or one or more countries, you can see which locations were more popular for your ad. You may want to edit your audience to focus on those locations.
Try something new to test your ads.
Small changes to your ad can have a big impact on performance. Success on Facebook has a lot to do with using the right ad creative (text and images) to get your customers’ attention.
