It is important that we have sufficient stock for upcoming programs and engagements (without having too much).

How much stock do we keep on hand?
How much stock do we keep on hand?
Tough question! There are discounts for bulk orders (often the more we purchase from publishers/ record agencies, the larger the discount). However we don't want to keep a massive supply of stock for 2 reasons:
Stock can age (ie. pages of books can yellow)
Cash flow management
Stock can often take up to one month to arrive (especially now that they were first printed a number of years ago). General rule of thumb is approx. 100 units of each product. This is dependant on what is in the diary coming up. It is important to review keynotes/ MAG programs where products are going to be required.
