To identify and fix problems with the website
Website errors are problems that occur on a website. These can be caused by a variety of factors, such as faulty code or hardware problems.
Issues or errors encountered on our website must be resolved as soon as possible.
Note: Reviewing Hotjar recordings also allows you to monitor website functionality. You might discover webpage errors from user experiences.
This error means that the requested resource was not found. This can happen if the page has been moved, deleted, or if the URL is incorrect.
Solution: Redirect - If the change is being made for SEO purposes it is always advisable to create a 301 redirect from the old URL to the new one to not lose any page authority.
This error means that there was an internal server error. This can happen if there is a problem with the website's code or configuration.
This error means that the website's gateway is down. This can happen if the website's server is overloaded or if there is a problem with the website's network connection.
Troubleshooting:
Check the URL to make sure it is correct.
Try refreshing the page.
Clear your browser's cache and cookies.
Contact the website's administrator for help.
This can happen for a number of reasons, such as:
The form is not configured correctly to send emails.
The email address entered is incorrect.
The email server is rejecting the emails.
The spam filter is blocking the emails.
To troubleshoot this issue, you can try the following:
Contact Lightning Sites. They will check the form configuration to make sure that the email address is correct and that the form is enabled to send emails.
Try sending a test email from the form to see if it goes through.
Check email server settings to make sure that they are configured correctly to accept emails from our website.
Check spam filter settings to make sure that the emails from our website are not being blocked.
Solution: Lightning Sites added a captcha to our forms to prevent spam submissions.
When most attendees are on the same Wi-Fi network, all the traffic gets routed through a single IP address. This can definitely trigger security plugins or firewalls, which see that sudden spike from one IP as suspicious, even if it's just excited attendees trying to access the page.
Using a dedicated landing page with ActiveCampaign sidesteps that issue nicely, and it also gives us the flexibility to easily update and manage the page without touching the main website.
