Grants for businesses are financial awards provided by governments, non-profit organizations, corporations, or other entities to support specific projects, activities, or initiatives undertaken by businesses. Unlike loans, grants do not need to be repaid, making them an attractive form of funding.

Grants can support business expansion initiatives, allowing us to invest in new products, services, technologies, or markets. This can contribute to increased revenue and growth.
The program supports innovative small and medium enterprises undertaking commercialization and/or growth projects within the National Reconstruction Fund priority areas through advisory services and opportunities for matched grant funding. Minor changes or improvements to existing products or services are not considered innovative.
You will be connected to an Industry Growth Program Adviser who will provide tailored advice to support your commercialization and/or growth project.
Once you have received this advice, you may also be able to apply for:
Grants of $50,000 to $250,000 to support early-stage commercialization projects
Grants of $100,000 to $5 million for commercialization and growth projects.

The Research and Development Tax Incentive (R&DTI) offers a tax offset for companies conducting eligible R&D activities. It encourages investment in R&D to help your company to grow and innovate which generates benefits for the Australian economy.
As well as providing financial support, the R&DTI can be an opportunity to collaborate with registered Research Service Providers (RSPs).

Funding is available to help businesses progress their new products or processes along the Technology Readiness Level (TRL) scale and attract large-scale private investment.
Businesses who successfully complete projects funded under the program are permitted to reapply for additional funding to make further progress along the TRL scale.
