It is important that all agents are familiar with our program offering to put us on top of their mind when dealing with potential clients
Step 1 - Identify the recipient
Before, we compile a list of travel designers within the Tailor who handle tours or travel arrangements
But now, we direct our communication to Lisa Williams, The Tailor's Product Supervisor
Recipient email is product@thetailor.com
Lisa will then distribute this information to the Travel Designers
Step 2 - Craft an Email
Write a personalized email introducing yourself and the company
Mention the partnership we had with the agency and express the purpose of why you are reaching out
See Email Campaigns HERE ⬅️
Step 3 - Provide marketing collaterals
In your email, attach the tailor-made materials for the agency.
Step 4 - Address Concerns or Questions
Be prepared to address any concerns or questions the travel designers may have about the services
Provide clear and comprehensive answers to build trust and confidence with MAG
Consult James for enquiries you are not certain to handle
Step 5 - Provide Ongoing Support
Offer ongoing support to the travel designers by providing additional materials, marketing resources, and assistance with booking enquiries
Building a strong relationship with the agents will lead to long-term partnerships and increased bookings for your VIP tour activities with MAG
Step 6 - Collect Feedback
After the tours are completed, collect feedback from both the travel designers and their clients to continually improve our services and maintain high satisfaction levels

Hi Drew and Lisa,
Hope you’re both going well.
A few of your travel designers have asked what we do with guests when it rains — and as you know, weather in the Blue Mountains can turn quickly.
To make it easy, I’ve put together a short video walking through how we adapt the day when conditions change.

Would you mind sharing it with your travel designers?
Thanks heaps,
Cheers

Hi Drew and Lisa,
Hope you both are well.
As you may recall, last month, I shared some of the hidden spots we take your clients to during their time with us in the Blue Mountains.
I’d also like to share with your travel designers a bit more info on the canyons we take your clients over the summer months. Please find attached a one-pager explaining:
🧭 Quick canyon overviews – from the family-friendly Empress Canyon to the advanced Fortress Canyon
📊 Essential stats – age requirements, difficulty levels, hike times, and more
🌿 Visual highlights – from rainforest-lined trails to breathtaking waterfalls
Attached is a one pager for you to share both with your travel designers and also it provides easy reference and ready to use in their next client consultation.
Would you mind passing on?
Thank you.
Cheers

Hi Lisa and Drew,
How’s things? We had a cracking day yesterday with Angelica's clients (the Bui and Walker family - HERE are a couple of snaps).
As you know, I really try hard in making sure when I look after your clients we go well beyond the typical tourist trail (just ask Angelica what we had to do yesterday!). Even the driver that the Bui and Williams family had (Branko - who was an absolute legend) said to us -
"....we do day tours all the time to the Blue Mountains, but what you put together today was so different. I've been up here so many times, but had no idea about the kind of places you took Robin and Tom's family."
I’ve just put together an infosheet for you to share with the travel designers to help them better understand a few of these unique experiences.
PLEASE FIND ATTACHED
What do you think? Would you mind sharing this with your travel designers?
Thank you and have a great weekend.
Cheers
James

Hi Lisa (and Drew)!
How are you both? (I'm just down in the Vic High Country doing some 4WDing and camping with my son. It’s beautiful!)
I put together a little video for The Tailor that I hope you can share with the travel designers:
[Embed Video]
What do you think? I shot this to help the travel designers understand that the Blue Mountains is so much more than the 3 Sisters and standing at a couple of lookouts! Over the years, we’ve put a lot of effort into ensuring your clients get to experience so much more than just your average “day tour”.
If you are happy with it, would you mind sharing it with the team?
Thank you and talk soon!
Cheers

Hi Drew and Lisa,
How are you both?
We moved back to Sydney at the start of January and the kids started at their new schools last week. It’s been a tough transition, but it definitely feels like the right move.
To kick things off in 2025, I’ve recorded a short little video update for both you and the team. Would you mind sharing this with the travel designers?:
Here’s a quick summary of the main updates in the video:
Thank you for an amazing 2024/25 festive season!
Extended offering overview when I’m not available (please also find attached some more info)
Dec 2025/26 - I’ll be in the USA with the family, but we’d still love to host your clients in the Blue Mountains
Does this all make sense?
Let me know if you have any questions - I'm always happy to chat.
Thank you and talk soon!

Hi Drew and Lisa,
Hope you are both well!
As you both know, I am exclusively available to guide your clients for the 2 week period either side of Christmas.
In order to update your travel designers leading up to this busy period, please can you share with the team:
SHORT VIDEO MESSAGE talking about the upcoming holiday period (October update)
Attached calendar of what has been booked in by your travel designers currently (on the days that are booked, we can still cater for your guests with some of my best guides. See below)
MAY VIDEO UPDATE reminding the travel designers of the extended offering to your clients at a lower price point.
We have a number of your clients booked in, but there are still a few dates available if some of your clients are looking for day tours over that period.

Hi Drew and Lisa,
Hows things? Drew - I'm currently sitting in a roadhouse near Coober Pedy about to head bush for a few weeks.
I’m really looking forward to taking care of some of your clients over the summer again. We already have a number of bookings locked in.
Most of your team have a pretty good idea of what we do with your clients up in the Blue Mountains however I just wanted to share the attached PDF which gives them an insight into a few of the little touches/ things we do to bring the WOW!
Would you mind sharing this with the Travel Designers?
Cheers,
James

New Extended Offerings!
To offer an expanded range of services to the Tailor.
Clients can now book a tour with James' Handpicked Guides at a discounted rate.
Email Copy:
Hi Inga (and Drew),
Hope you're both well.
See attached photo of the landslide in the Megalong. Fortunately, we've been able to regain access!
I just wanted to give you a quick update (can you please share with your travel designers?).
Please WATCH HERE a video of me explaining the new update.
Essentially, Drew asked me to provide a Blue Mountains offering that was at a lower price point than our premium experience. Up until now, I have always guided all your clients personally (which I still will continue to do!) however the cost and my availability often rules out the Blue Mountains for many of your clients. In order to address this, I have handpicked a couple of my best guides to host your clients. The advantage of this:
In busy times, if I am guiding another Tailor client, we can still offer a Blue Mountains experience to your other clients (often in that busy Christmas period we have had to say no to some of your clients in the past as I can only host one group/ day)
It opens up our Blue Mountains itinerary to more of your clients
Your clients will still get to enjoy all of our usual activities and tailored itineraries (like rock climbing, canyoning, abseiling, and other personalised adventures).
40% cheaper than our premium offering!
How does this sound?
Please find attached the updated pricing for our Blue Mountains experiences (Can you please update your system and share these with the travel designers?)
Does this make sense? Feel free to give me a buzz if you have any questions.
Thank you.
Cheers,
James

Campaign Overview:
How Adventurous Are You?
James tailors each tour to suit the client's interests and abilities. The copy provides an outline of the experience, depending on the level of adventure preferred by the clients. The 'Less Adventurous' option is designed for beginners who simply want to enjoy the scenic beauty of the Blue Mountains. The 'Highly Adventurous' tier is tailored for seasoned hikers and may involve activities such as hiking, wading, swimming, canyoning, and rappelling.
Email Copy:
Hi Inga (and Drew),
I hope the material I sent you last month has been helpful in your communications with your clients.
A question I often get asked by your travel designers is "how adventurous do my clients need to be to spend a day with you, Cas?"
The answer is NOT MUCH! Obviously I love looking after your super adventurous clients (with the canyoning, abseiling, climbing etc) however this summer we had a few day trips for some of your clients that were after a unique Blue Mountains experience that wasn't too strenuous.
Now that Wolgan is closed for the foreseeable future, even your less adventurous clients can still have a super unique and rewarding day with me in the Blueys. To help articulate this to your travel designers I have put the following together for you to share with them:
Information Pack - 1 page overview of how we can tailor a Blue Mountains 1-day itinerary for your clients from super adventurous .... to a bit more chilled.
Short video message - WATCH NOW This is a short video I filmed to explain to your designers the different kinds of trips we can run for them.
Does this make sense? Are you able to share with the travel designers?
Thank you and talk soon!
Cheers,
James

Hi Inga (and Drew),
I hope 2024 is starting strongly.
I have put together a short little video for your Travel Designers. Would you mind sharing the below with them?:
Please WATCH HERE.
I really enjoyed working with a number of your Travel Designers and awesome clients. Over the summer we helicoptered, walked, climbed, abseiled and canyoned!... Hopefully, their time in the Blue Mountains was one of their many highlights during their time in Australia. The video showcases some of these experiences and also gives the travel designers a good flavour of what a day in the Blue Mountains looks like.
As you’ll see in the video, we ran bespoke itineraries for a wide-ranging group of clients - old & young, fit & not-so-fit, adventurous & not-so-adventurous! They all appeared to have an awesome time…
I look forward to working with more of your clients in 2024.
Cheers,
James
