No SEO work has been undertaken previously.
On June 2023, we sourced a new SEO Agency partner, MediaMC.
The primary strategy was to build location pages. However, we haven't gotten sustainable results yet (as of May 2024). Therefore, on 2024, we switched back to prioritizing efforts on our primary keywords.

guest posts - Mick, the SEO managing consultant, leverages his 10-year industry experience to write and place content on external .com sites, ensuring relevance, a Domain Rating (DR) higher than the client's, and a minimum of 1,000 organic traffic for viable link placement, absorbing up to 10% of the cost when using third-party sites.
'unlinked brand mention' search - SEO Agency will find content on the internet that references our brand or James in any way, and develop a list. Then, we will reach out to them directly to link our website to their brand mentions.

Our strategy is to expand reach through keyword targeting (locations and topics), content, and backlink building.
The Homepage, which targets the brand, and the About page, which targets James' name, will not be modified. The focus for the first 6 or so months ( JULY - DECEMBER 2023) is solely on expanding and branching out all of these new keyword terms.
The SEO consultant observed that what we need are custom local pages, expanded content, other new pages on dedicated topics, and links.

The location pages will be kept relatively light in content. The five new location pages will drive users to the main Keynote Speaker page for more information.
A way will be found to reference each of the 5 locations once on the main keynote page which is the link that is needed for Google bots. Options:
Links will also be added to the footer, which will be less visible to users.
Blog topics or case studies will also be written in certain locations where James speaks. Internal links to location pages will be included in these blog topics or case studies.

We haven't built enough internal links (blogs/case studies) to the new pages.

I'll send a couple email drafts that you can use to reach out to these publications to request a back link. As mentioned it'll be different depending on whether James actually knows someone there, compared to if he doesn't. It'd be great to be able to get a handful of links because that'll be great for our SEO.
The link from Sydney Uni is AMAZING and should also be good for SEO.
Motivational Speaker Pages / Content
Please review/approve the motivational speaker location page content. From page 6. Once approved, I'll build the pages and they'll only internally link from the new keynote speaker pages and we'll keep them very light in content; no animations, video etc. I'll just use the copy, a picture of James (or picture you provide) and maybe a Google map of the city. The purpose of this is to keep them light in source code to see if we can rank them better without all the animations/buttons/pop-ups/links etc.
We'll also write a top level 'motivational speakers australia' page which will be the top level page to target that as we saw in the keyword research there is over 400 monthly national searches for the topic.
Top Motivational Speakers 2023 blog post
We can see how much traffic the last 2022 post got. Perhaps we write a new one for this year and we can just have it all about James. This content will need to come from James and it could just be about the year to date, where and what he's done this year etc. The title, URL and H1 can all target the keyword 'top motivational speakers in australia' and this will also internally link to the abovementioned location pages.
Up to you and James how you'd want to go about the content on that page but I'm here for SEO advice.
Team Building Activities
As we saw in the Google search results, when someone searches 'team building activities sydney' which has 590 monthly searches, it's all blog posts. So perhaps we do a blog post on this exact topic and see how we can get it ranking as well.

Ideally, we'll restructure the main menu with 6 items. The rest of the menu can be navigated under More as suggested.
