For students enrolled in AP courses, registration for 1st Semester AP exams is now available through Total Registration. Parents and students can locate the AP testing exam schedule, and link to the Total Registration website at our JCHS AP webpage.
Students must be registered and paid in full on Total Registration by November 1st.

Congressional App Challenge
Representative Collins is excited to host the Congressional App Challenge for middle and high school students in Georgia’s 10th Congressional District. This nationwide event allows students to compete with their peers by creating a software application, or "app," for the internet, personal computer, tablet, mobile device, or other platform of their choice.
FALL EXAM SCHEDULE & EXEMPTION INFORMATION
EXAM EXEMPTION POLICY
High school seniors with an A average in the course will be exempt from the final exam for that course. Students in grades 9-11 may not exempt final exams.
A final exam does NOT include an EOC, EOPA, or other mandated test.
Students and parents/guardians will be notified in advance if a student is exempt from a final exam.
EARLY RELEASE PROCEDURES: December 19th & 20th
Car riders and students who drive may leave campus at 10:55
Lunch: 10:55-11:20 (all students) with a release to buses by 11:25

Work-Based Learning Spotlight
JCHS senior, Siearra Townley has WBL at West Jackson MS with Mrs. Mardos in an 8th grade Spanish class. Thank you to Mrs. Mardos for accelerating Siearra’s involvement, and give credit to Siearra for jumping right in and teaching lessons. Siearra is pursuing teaching as a profession, and her WBL is helping her gain valuable insight in which age group she wants to ultimately teach.

We are proud to announce our first two Student Athletes of the Month for the 2023-24 school year. Kylen and Abbott were nominated by their coaches following an amazing month of August -- leading in the classroom and on the field.
A GREAT DAY FOR CROSS COUNTRY
It was a GREAT DAY of running at the Apple Hawkins Invitational at Apalachee!
Varsity Girls - 3rd out of 15 teams
Erin O'Brien - 8th out of 148 runners
JV Girls - 3rd out of 8 teams
MS Boys - 2nd out of 16 teams
WJMS Bryce Leitsch - 4th out of 141 runners
Almost every varsity boy hit a PR as well!
VOLLEYBALL KEEPS ROLLING
Volleyball scored wins over Gainesville and North Hall this past week. This week is the final week of the regular season. The region tournament will be the following week, followed by the state tournament.
The Panthers are now 25-5 on the season.
FOOTBALL WINS ON HOMECOMING
On Friday Night, the Panther Football team celebrated Homecoming with a WIN over Apalachee.
After cruising out to a 35-0 lead at halftime, the team used the second half to get some valuable experience for a lot of players on the team. The final score was 35-17.
This week, we travel to Habersham for a BIG region game!
JAXCO CHEER
For the second straight week, Jaxco Cheer is bringing home a second place trophy!
This weekend at North Forsyth, the Cheer Cats defeated Habersham Central and Alpharetta in the Class 6A competition to earn the hardware.
Next week, the squad travels to Buford.
SOFTBALL BEATS SHILOH TWICE,CURRENTLY THIRD IN REGION
On Tuesday, the Lady Panther Softball team defeated Shiloh 1-0 and 8-4 in a doubleheader at Panther Park. They are currently in third place in region 8-AAAAAA.
This week the Panthers have two doubleheaders--one against Habersham at home and one at Gainesville.
