JCHS Car Riders:
Please use the official car rider line to drop off and pick up students. Cars dropping off in the morning spend no more than 3-5 minutes in our car line, and the car pickup line in the afternoon is usually clear by 3:25!
Let's be good neighbors and avoid using/parking in the Braselton Farms and Charlotte Estates subdivisions as an alternative to the JCHS car rider line.
Please refrain from making U-turns in the car rider line.
Please refrain from picking up students and making U-turns on Skelton Rd.
Please abide by the signals of our School Crossing Guards.
Following these guidelines will avoid vehicular accidents while keeping pedestrians and students safe.
Thank you for working with us to help make our drop-off and pick-up car lines as safe and efficient as possible!
Student Drivers:
Click HERE to view parking maps and student driver entry and exit points.
Students must follow the correct traffic patterns as indicated by markings and signage in the parking lots. Drivers should be courteous and cautious at all times.

Entrance Exams Explained!
College Entrance Exams
The Counseling Department recommends that students first attempt the ACT or SAT exams during the Spring of their Junior year. Taking these college entrance exams during your Junior year will give you ample time to study and retake the tests as needed to achieve your desired scores. ACT or SAT are standardized assessments required for admission at many four year universities. Click on the ACT/SAT hyperlinks to learn more about registering and preparing for these exams. Be sure to check with your colleges of choice to see if they require ACT/SAT for college admission. Most institutions provide detailed admission information and criteria on their "Admissions" page on their website.
