For students enrolled in AP courses, registration for 1st Semester AP exams is now available through Total Registration. Parents and students can locate the AP testing exam schedule, and link to the Total Registration website at our JCHS AP webpage

Students must be registered and paid in full on Total Registration by November 1st.

 Class of 2023 Graduation Rate 

The Georgia Department of Education released Class of 2023 graduation rates on Tuesday. The Jackson County School System boasted a 94.7% rate. The State of Georgia average for Class of 2023 was 84.4 percent.

The Jackson County School System has partnered with All For Lunch, an organization committed to assisting with paying down school meal debt in local school systems. To donate, please visit www.allforlunch.org/JacksonGA to donate and help keep JCSS students and families debt free.

Join us October 24th and 25th in the JCHS auditorium for the community performance of our one-act show The Mad One’s!

The Mountain Bike team will host the East Conference Championship on their home course at Road Atlanta on October 21st, with several riders eyeing conference podiums and personal bests!  Come out and support our Panthers. Parking is $10 Link to the Info Page

  Work-Based Learning Spotlight 

JCHS Senior, Dylan Ware has a long-term career goal of working at Toyota Industries Compressors of America (TICA) in Pendergrass. Dylan is an Industrial Maintenance Apprentice for 2 WBL blocks per day. He plans to continue his post-secondary education at Lanier Tech, which TICA plans to support.

 IB Biology Field Trip 

Jackson County High School's IB Biology students had an enlightening day at the State Botanical Gardens, where they measured ecosystem health. Later, they explored the University of Georgia campus with the Arch Society, discovering the rich history and academic potential it offers.

GA MATCH will show you which of the 22 colleges and universities you are eligible to attend in Georgia. Letters are being sent out throughout October! Be on the lookout for yours!

USMMA is one of the five federal service academies. Like all federal service academies, students receive full tuition, room and board and books at no cost! Every WEDNESDAY at 3:00 p.m. USMMA hosts a virtual information session. Check out the link in bio if you’d like to sign up- and let your counselor know!

This is a private event for ONLY high school seniors and their chaperones!

VOLLEYBALL TO HOST ALEXANDER ON TUESDAY

Our Region Runner Up Volleyball team will host the first round of the Class AAAAAA State Playoffs this Tuesday!

Alexander High School of Douglasville travels to Panther Pavilion at 6pm.  Tickets are on GoFan.

SOFTBALL STATE PLAYOFFS THIS WEEK

Our Panther softball team is headed to the state playoffs for the 5th year in a row!

We will travel to River Ridge High School this Wednesday for a Super Regional which includes us, East Paulding, River Ridge, and Roswell.
