Get ready to hit the road safely and confidently with Lainer Tech's Driver’s Education Training Classes!

 Adaptive Sports 

The Clarke County School District has invited students from the Jackson County School System to participate in an upcoming 3-game adaptive basketball season. The cost is free and equipment and uniforms will be provided. Scan the QR code or sign up HERE. Practices begin in December and games begin in January.

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year! Join Jaxco Dance on December 14th and 15th at 7 PM in the auditorium as they perform your holiday favorites and fresh routines. Don't miss a special guest appearance by our faculty and staff, including our one and only Mrs. Gillespie! This promises to be a night of entertainment and holiday cheer that you do NOT want to miss. JCHS Senior, Emma ‘Lizzie’ Bryant has WBL 1st all year to gain insight and experience into the teaching profession. She is placed with Mrs. Katherine Bennett in Kindergarten. Lizzie plans to attend Kennesaw State University to pursue at teaching degree. Thanks to Principal Joshua Todd and Mrs. Bennett for hosting a JC WBL student.

 Jackson County Community Outreach Scholarship Opportunities 

Each year the JCCO awards SCHOLARSHIPS to deserving Jackson County high school students planning to attend college and technical schools. Presently the Jackson County Community Outreach with the help of SPONSORS and ENDOWMENT fund has given scholarships totaling $300,000.00 since 1998. Each year JCCO provides an ever growing amount of additional scholarships to Jackson County students.

BACK TO BACK WINS FOR SWIM

The Swim Cats won for the second week in a row at Habersham Central's Jingle Jam on Friday night.  

Nine other schools competed, but the Panthers finished at the top.  Freshman Ryland Sheppard became the 5th state qualifier this season in the 100m breast stroke.

GIRLS WRESTLING fINISHES SECOND AT LUMPKIN COUNTY

Panther INVITATIONAL A SUCCESS

One of the largest tournaments in the state each year, the two day, 23 school Panther Invitational took place this past weekend.

Our Panthers finished in place overall, with several individuals placing in their weight class.

BASKETBALL DROPS GAMES AT ATHENS ACADEMY

Our Panthers hit the road on Friday night to Athens Academy, for a non region basketball matchup.

The girls fell behind early, and never could quite catch up, falling to the Spartans 65-36.

In the boys game, foul trouble ultimately got the best of the Panthers in a game that was close most of the night.  The Panthers ended up falling 59-46 to the 10th ranked (Class AA) Spartans.
