 Winter Coat Drive 

Key Club is joining forces with 7 Pillars of Hope to provide coats for our homeless community this winter. New or gently used coats may be dropped off in the JCHS Front Office until December 8th. Thank you for helping us make a difference!

Deck the Halls with Jaxco Spirit! The Jackson County High School Library Learning Commons is excited to announce our special holiday ornament fundraiser. We have beautifully crafted wooden ornaments, produced right here at JCHS, that are sure to add a festive flair to your home this holiday season.   Student and Teacher of the Month 

During the month of October, our Panther teachers nominated each other for Teacher of the Month from 8 different departments. Each of those 8 teachers then selected 1 student as Student of the Month from their respective departments. At this time, we would like to announce our Teachers and Students of the Month for the Month of October.

  Work-Based Learning Spotlight 

JCSS has a fantastic industry partnership with Northeast Georgia Health Systems (NGHS). Megan Placencia (JCHS Senior) is a youth apprentice going through rotations. Megan is currently working in the Braselton Emergency Room. This WBL real-world, experience is allowing her to witness and practice what she learned in her CTAE Healthcare Pathway classes.

Our Cheer Cats saved their best score for sectionals, and are packing their bags for the Class AAAAAA State Championships this weekend in Macon!  Only 16 schools qualify each year.

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY FINISHES TOP 20 IN STATE

Our Region Runner Up Girls Cross Country squad had a great day in Carrollton at the state championships.

Senior Morgan Eldridge led the crew through the State finish line this afternoon. These girls ran their hearts out from beginning to end.
